Prior years were slightly different and had a red center, and I think the winged mascot was abandoned (on cars if not all their literature) in 1957 for "The Big M". The only cars shown in <span style="font-style: italic">The Cars of Lincoln Mercury</span> with this hubcap are 1956 Medalists, the base model.
