Guest Aussie Dodger
Good Evening FolksI require guidance on the removal of rear axle assembly on 1935 DU Dodge Sedan (six cyl).I cannot "free" the brake hub to allow removal to gain access to the brake system and remove the axle.I believe my young daughter may have broken the axle.RegardsTrevor - Now the proud owner of 1927 Dodge Ute & 1935 Dodge DU Sedan (the divoice really paid off - freedom at last!) <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Click to reveal.. <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show me!" onclick="toggle_spoiler(this, 'Yikes, my eyes!', 'Show me!')" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;"> </div></div></div>

hchris
Pullers were required to remove Mopar rear drums from the 30s to the 60s, it really is a matter of finding somebody who has one. Try these guys; chysler@gil.com.au they are near you.
keiser31
Be certain that you have the brake shoes adjusted all of the way in or you will never get the drum off.
