rofly1
Is there something else you have to do in addition to removing the set screw to remove the knob? I didnt want to just yank it out. Roger
Guest My TC Toy
Roger. The centre shift release button is attached to a thin plastic 6" shaft that clips around a pin down below. Forcefully, but carefully, lift up on the entire shift knob. A little grease in the clip down below, after you remove it, will make it easier the next time.Mine is a 1990 3.0 TF and that is how it should be removed, I assume yours is the same. rofly1
Thanks it worked. There is a big difference in knobs. My original is smaller than the replacement. Roger
