tom moore
I have an opportunity to acquire a very nice, restored, almost show condition 1948 Chevy Fleetline 4 door. What's good about them? How desireable are they? Will this thing end up being a white elephant taking up valuable space in my small garage? Collectability value? How do they resale? Any information you may have will be very much appreciated to help me decide if I want it or not.Tom

aacalifeer
TimThese are unique cars. As you may see in my avatar I have one. These were designed after the 1940 60 series Caddy. Very easy driving, and attract a lot of attention at cruise ins and car shows. There were only about 64000 4 dr's built compared to the 2Dr Fleetline with 211000 built. I tell people this was the Caprice Classic Broughm of the day. These look great with wheel shields ( skirts ) on the back. Best of luck with the purchase.
