Jim Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 You do have to take the top off to get at the 5 screws that hold the two switches in place.On the front of the shift knob is a small clip, pull it forward and the shift knob will lift up and off. The shift plate just snaps into the console top. Remove it and you will see two screws holding the front of the console top. There are also two Phillips screws near the cigar lighter.
