WTB: 1960 Electra hood letters, original-style floor mats

Looking for the hood letters for a 1960 Electra (LeSabre and Invicta the same). I really just need the "I" but will buy full set if available.

Also looking for orginal style front floor mats, (ribbed with tri-shield) either in black or preferably chocolate brown. Good or VG condition; does not have to be NOS.

The correct floor mats for 1960 are not tri-shield (although many folks use them). The tri-shield mats were introduced in 1961. The proper mats for 1960 use the 50s style Buick crest.

If you're OK with the tri-shield mats, they are now available as reproductions, which will give you "the look" at a fraction of the price of NOS mats.

Thanks, Greg. That's interesting, even though the grille emblem is the tri-shield. Was '60 the first year for that emblem? Where are the tri-shield mats available as reproductions?

Znáte "The Buick" od Terryho Dunhama? 400 stránek historie Buicku, určitě je tam i to, kdy byl zaveden "3 shield emblém". Nebo zkuste "Standard Catalog of Buick" od Krause Publication.
