has anyone done this for the 88-89 with the touch screen? Nice to be able to copy what some of the letters mean all at one time. Almost makes me want to go and buy a later model with this information...only kidding. But there are things like [snap shot] just what does that mean.....Ken
answers to
dkwatson247@hotmail.com rolleyes.gif" border="0

Not sure about the codes for for 88/89's. If someone wants to scan a page or two from the 88/89 manual, and email it my way, I'll upload them.
Per the manual, "SnapShot" (reference ECM) refers to:
"Snapshot is a test type that will record all BCM or ECM data and inputs at one instant for review at a later time. The ECM and BCM each have slightly differnt types of snapshot.
ECM Snapshot:
Selection of the "SNAPSHOT?" test type while in the ECM system level will result in the message "SNAPDONE" being displayed. This message will appear for 3 seconds to indicate that all ECM data and inputs have been stored in memory. After 3 seconds the display will automatically proceed to the first available snapshot test type (ie SNAP DATA). While selecting a snapshot test type, any of the following actions may be taken to control the display.
1. Depressing the "OFF" button..." etc etc.
--Tom

Nicely done. Might want to set your display to 800x600 and shorten some of the rows of dots (....), number of lines are wrapping even at full screen display, the frame is not that wide.
Have xeroxed that part of the 88 manual, all of it is about 12 pages. Not a trivial undertaking.

Still wrapping a lot. Any chance you could go to a full size window without the frame on the left side ? A lot of spsce is lost to that and the extra blue (pretty though).
Haven't been through the whole thing (do not have '90 to check but whasis:
"PROM ID Code Number identifies an individual calibration and is periodically updated; refer to latest service publication for correct ID number. "
ID (four digit number) is blown into PROM and is sometimes printed on the silver sticker on the CalPack. It does not change in use.
Sometimes the factory will issue a revision (e.g. 88 ANCX ID 3534 but you must replace or reprogram the PROM to change.
