64 Riv with a 120MPH speedo??

From what I have learned here, only very early 63's had a 120mph speedo?

Is it safe to assume this 64 has had its original speedo swapped out?

I've always been told only early 63 Rivs, with smooth dashes, no aluminum, have 120 mph speedometers. Also, 64's should have a ribbed aluminum trim disc in the gauges, while a 63 is smooth, and a 65 is black. Many years ago, I refinished my dash and removed the speedometer all together. I managed to break off the shaft when I pulled the needle off to buff out the aluminum in the face. Many expletives later, I had the speedo rebuilt.

It's been swapped out for something, and not a '63. If it were a '63 120 mph speedo, it would have the same face as the gauge set on the right of the speedo.
