keyless remotes

Looking for information and parts. According to the "89 Reatta sales literature, my car should have keyless remotes. I am the second owner, but never did get the remotes. I know the part number is 22100943, but need the FCC number. does anyone know the FCC numbers that are good for an 89 Reatta? Do you have any for sale reasonably? If I can get the numberrs, I am hoping to run these down used somewhere for a huge savings. Thanks. CayugaMAD@aol.comnull

The answer above shows where you can get them. My 1989 Reatta remote is FCC number GLQ9Z6-1507. My part number is 22071507. It is a four button remote. Remotes Unlimited price is $ 39.95 . There picture shows a Cadillac crest on the remote but they say the remote is no longer available. They have an after market one that is correct in function but different in design. The Reatta remote has a Buick crest.
This page tells how to train your Reatta to a new remote.
http://www.reatta.net/faq.html#REMOTE
The people below should also have Reatta (Buick) remotes.
Here is a list of people with Reatta parts cars. Recieved two remotes from Remotes Unlimited. Tried to program, to no avail. Called Remotes Unlimited and discussed with tech. They agreed I was programming correctly. So at their suggestion, I returned that set, and two more remotes were sent to me. Programming worked fine the first try, in under 30 seconds.
If anyone else is interested in remotes from Remotes Unlimited, I would certainly recommend them. They no longer have remotes the look like the original ones, but the model they can sell you certainly works.

I purchased 3 remotes from Remotes Unlimited and they worked just ok. They seemed to be slower than the originals and it seemed that I had to hold the button down longer and the buttons only had arrows on them insead of the picture symbols like on the originals.
The biggest reason I am adding this post though is the instructions that came with the remotes were completely wrong and not even close to the proper way to program a Reatta or Riviera remote.
The proper way is to ground the green wire/connector next to the ABS computer on the left side inside the trunk. With the key on you then have 30 seconds to complete the proceedure. Upon grounding the connector with the key on the system will lock and then unlock the doors. You then press the unlock button twice waiting about one second in between presses and then do it a second time or do it with a second remote. Remove the ground and your remote/s should work.

Jim,
I dont know when you got yours from them. The instructions from them were basically the same as from www.reatta.net when I got my set. They just had a picture of the Riviera showing the green wire being in the center of the trunk, instead of the proper place on the driver's side. Otherwise everything jived (maybe someone corrected them on the instructions since you got your set).
Cheers,
