tbirdman
Just got from the Portland Swap meet. Pick up a OD cut out regulator but it was in pretty bad shape. Don't know if it can be rebuilt. Also I don't know if it's the correct one as I can't find any numbers. The vendor also had a decent looking one with only one lead underneath which I assumed was a pre-32 cut out. These originals are definetely shorter than the aftermarkets. Owen_Dyneto
Generally, the Owen Dyneto part# on the regulators is stamped in very small numbers on one of the outside edges of the base just below the cover.
tbirdman
I picked up a OD regulator at a swap meet today. Unfortunately looking the pictures in the parts book, it looks like its for the 700 series. The 900 series regulator has a fuse on the unit.If anyone needs one, PM me. I'll let you have it for what I paid for it plus shipping. Don't know if it works but it looks like a real clean unit. Otherwise it's going on E-Bay. tbirdman
Just happen to browse Napa online and they are selling the Eichlin VR 755 again. Pick up a few for insurance.
