Rubber edge for sidemount covers

I Never found any for my '37, don't think the original stuff is available anywhere.

I just filled the cracks with Silicone-rubber.

I didn't try to take it off, I knew it would fall apart if I did. The black silicone-rubber RTV applied over it, looked good. I just masked off around it and applied it with my finger.

Thanks for the Info but I'll wait until you get yours on, and see how it Fits, before I order it. I Hope it fits better than I think it will, but maybe that used in '32 is different than '37.

Speedster,

I have high hopes for it as he used the exact part number on his 32 sidemount covers. He did use contact cement for the installation. I do owe him a few beers as he had to dig through his receipts for the part number and previous help he has provided:)
