Guest billmuse1
hi guys..my 89's cruise control will not come on. i read that it may be because of the rear stop light being burnt out????????...i do have a light burnt out in the stop light, however, does this sound correct?????thanks!!!!!!billm1
Guest jmn
I had the same problem and replaced the stem. Yhey are avilable at your dealer as they fit other Crysler products. The new one is not totaly black but has some chrome highlights, but It works fine.

Guest jmn
Sorry, I call the stem the entire part of the controler you can see, technical description. Your Mopar part# is 1-05016171AA.
car_chick
I know some cruise controls are vacuum actuated (my 91 jeep is). If you have a vacuum leak it could prevent the system from engaging.
