alsfarms
Hello, I am looking at a 1929 Chevrolet 1 ton truck. I will need a cab and possibly, an engine. Do any of you know what other year cabs will interchange? I am not sure about the engine being rebuildable. What other years Chev. straight six will bolt in with no adaptions? Look around and see if you could help me out with parts, information, or references. Thanks, Alan

ex98thdrill
Two years ago my father and I rebuilt the cab wood for a '28 Chevy car. When we pulled the tin off, some of the wood literally fell into a pile onto the floor. What I ended up doing was finding a guy out of Virginia who sells the wood kits for older Chevys. I want to say his website is www.chevywood.comMaybe this guy can help you out or direct you to someone who can. Good luck.
Guest tiredtruckrestorer
Hello,I have a six cylinder 1929 Chevy engine in the barn. As far as I can remember it was complete with manifolds and a clutch. It did turn free when I put it there a few years ago, but couldn't guarantee it still does. It's located in Pennsylvania, though.Keithemail at tiredtruck@verizon.net
