41 Dual carb: interchangeability questiion.

I want to add dual carbs to a '50 buick 263. A friend of mine has a 41 - 320 with dual carbs. I know the intake manifold will not fit, but can I use the carbs, and split exhaust manifolds on the '50 - 263 without problems?

No ,but if you can find the 248 set up from 1941-42, it will bolt right up. The carbs would probably work, but you still need the manifolds.

Is your friend interested in selling his 320 dual carb setup? I'm looking for a new set of exhaust manifolds to replace my cracked ones. E-mail me if he's interested in selling.

PS: The dual carb exhaust manifolds will clear the side-mounted engine mount, but you'll need to get creative with the routing of the exhaust pipes to clear it. The typical dual carb "Y" pipe won't work. Hope this helps!
