RAL923
I am working on a 1953 Buick with a 322 engine, one of the push rod is bent badly , so I wanted to replace them...The problem is I have ordered two sets so far and they are both the wrong length...Has anyone had luck ordering in new ones? If so where? last set was a Sealed Power set # RP-3010 and they swear they are right, they are larger dia and about .25 longer than the ones that came out of the car... Guest brh
There is a post on this subject someplace (I can never get it to work for me). It dealt with the issues of 54 and 53 pushrods, if I remember correctly. I think the way it wound up was 54 and 53 were interchangeble if you changed the rod and lifter at the same time. They do not interchange if just changing a rod alone. I am not sure and don't have access to correct info.
old-tank
More than you probably want to know about LIFTERS .The ebay parts #48000 and #48004 are TRW numbers and may be available locally if you ask by number. If you only need one or a few pushrods, I have some used ones...free.Willie
