Cadillac Allante

I worked on one for a "prominent citizen" of my hometown. IMHO, they are just OK, in some ways less of a car than a "Detroit bodied" Cadillac of the same given model year. Some things are really shoe horned in there (tight) and the instrument panel can pose a serious financial hardship if anything goes bad on it.

I'm crazy about the current XLR roadster though!

I've got a 93 and I love it. I would suggest you stop in the forum at allante-net:

The biggest problem with the 87-92 cars is the ABS. If the system isn't serviced annually, the ABS unit fails, and the brakes go with it. The 93s have a different system that doesn't have this problem.
