D-a-n-i-e-l
does any one know what the combustion chamber size of the LN3 cylinder head (our engine) and also the combustion chamber of the L67 cylinder head (SC series1)? Or better yet a place on the net where I can go to find these specs. I am in Iraq so going to the local machine shop is out of the question. D-a-n-i-e-l
Thanks Tommy, but no head specs there. I need the specs from the heads themselvs. I need to know if there is a differance in the amount of compression chamber space in each head
D-a-n-i-e-l
If I bolt on my LN3 head to my L67 will I increase, decrease, or not affect the compression ratio
2seater
My records indicate the chambers were all between 38cc-39cc on the 1990 LN3. The dish in the Silvolite pistons (aftermarket) were 29cc-30cc. I have nothing for the L67. There is a difference in the compression height of the pistons from an LN3 to a L27 ('91 N/A) My guess would be the heads will be similar, (in a series I engine), but piston height and possibly dish size will be different. Guest F14CRAZY
I'd ask Bonneville Club.Don't quote me but I believe I read that L27 and Series I L67 heads are the same
