Reatta picture

I am ready to sell my 4'x8' picture of a red Reatta. This pic is mounted on a frame work and originally hung in a dealership. I have had it for several years and my interests have changed. I feel I should let someone else enjoy this work of art. It is in beautiful condition and I have treated it with care. I will have to make a frame crate to sent to your location. I will sell for $200.00 the same price I paid for the pic. Anyone have an interest, let me know. Thanks. Ken grin.gif" border="0

455Ken; This is an off topic reply confused.gif" border="0 When you are driving your Riviera on the highway with the bright lights on and you dim to low does the car shudder for an instant? As though the transmission disengaged and then caught a quarter second later. My 96 does and I have been told it is normal. Any thoughts?<BR>Pagdett will probably have an interest in the artwork, Robert

I will post a pic of the pic as soon as I get a shot of it. My Riv does not alter speed with the lights on bright or dim. I think some is jerking your chain. Back to the pic---- it is really awesome to see a pic this large. Thanks for all of the inquries. Ken grin.gif" border="0

a) Sounds like a nice picture but mine is blue and have waaaay too much stuff already.<P>B) Things happening when turning lights on or switching low/high beams indicates a ground fault causing a surge in other circuits (e.g. a sudden spurious knock indication could steeply retard the spark momentarily).

Szaban, the 455 Skylark GS's (especially in Stage 1 form) are among the fastest stock musclecars (1/4 mile) ever made. In 1970, the fastest 1/4 mile time recorded by a Motor Trend magazine test car was by a 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 (13:38 @ 105.5 mph). In answer to your question, I wouldn't bet against the Buick! I know my stock 71 GS Stage 1 has no problem out-running my friend's stock 71 455 442.

Guest Buick Mike

Check out <A HREF="http://www.motortrend.com/sept99/memorable/memorable_f.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.motortrend.com/sept99/memorable/memorable_f.html</A> for a comparison of 50 fast cars. Note that the Buick 455 Stage 1 is faster than both a Chevelle LS-6 and a 427 Vette - and most everything else for that matter.<P>Also look at <A HREF="http://popularmechanics.com/popmech/auto2/9708AUTKAP.html" TARGET=_blank>http://popularmechanics.com/popmech/auto2/9708AUTKAP.html</A> and see where a lightly modded '70 GS 455 Stage 1 runs a 12.6 at 112 and acquits itself quite nicely in a field of heavy hitters. (Also note the equally impressive showing of the '87 T-Type)<P>When Buick has put its mind to it they have produced some of the baddest muscle cars to ever roll out of Detroit. Not anymore, though...<P>Mike
