    One more shot. Showing my mileage!!

    My power set plate on the driver's side has been bent and has a crack in it.

    Does anyone know the part number for that?

    That was a common problem on the big GM cars. If the owner was "big" the moulding cracked. I had a few Delta's but the 85 I had was the nicest!

    66 Cutlass Rad hose retainer

    The first one I installed broke. It had alot of tension on it. I bought a repro upper hose and retainer from Fusick. I have to really stretch the hose and the retainer wants to snap again. It seems from photos I have seen that on the 67 Cutlass the hole for the retainer is closer to the edge of the top radiator cover. on the 66 it is in more. Anyone know about this? Do the 66 and 67 use different hoses?

    I came home from the hospital in a 60 Buick Invicta convertible my Dad borrowed from my cousin. We got a 62 Catalina in 66, a 66 Impala in 70, Then my Dad bought his first New car, a 73 Comet, followed by a 77 Aspen. Went used again with an 81 Grand LeMans in 85, an 89 Caprice in 92, then a new 98 Catera until Dad stopped driving in 02. We also had as 2nd cars a 68 LeSabre bought in 76, and a 71 LeMans in 77. I got the LeMans when I graduated HS.
