Thanks Ed I found the brackets and I think I got them in the right places. It appears that most of the brackets were taken off these vehicles and never put back. Gerry

Thanks for the info and the photos it helps. Good luck finding the heater hose brackets hard item to find. I think there should be two, one on the front bolt and the other on the rear bolt.

I am trying to find out if the 65 riv had ribbed heater hoses or ones, which had the GM logo stamped on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I called them and they told me they are the same. This one looks right. Thanks

That's the problem with the one I have in the car now (tubes are too short.

I have a 65 riv which came with a radio delete. The radio plate was solid with no cut outs. The fender did not have a hole cut out and prior to owning the car someone put a after market radio in it and cut a antenna hole in top of the fender. I put the proper radio in the car and was able to get a new radio plate. I will eventually replace the fender so the hole will be in the proper place.

I order parts from CARS and they only list the one for A/C. They say its different and others say its not. Where did you order the heater core from.

I have a non A/C 65 Riv and would like to know if the heater core is the same for a A/C car. If there is a difference please let me know what it is. It appears that they might be the same.

Thanks Jeff. I found a place in Ca. Southbay Chrome (http://southbaychrome.com) and have sent some to them already and they look beautiful. Can't wait to put them on.
