That bumper bracket looks like it is mounted to a replica Auburn Speedster. Where are your kids going to sit ?

Cord uses 1", 1 1\8", 1 1\2" & 2" I.D. straight hoses which you can order from Rock Auto and cut to length. Only the upper rad hoses are easy to change. The hoses between the blower and the thermostat housings aren't hard either but do take some time. The remaining hoses require the water pump to be removed which required most of a day and ample patience.

If I were you, I would have Matt Harwood on the phone now.

It's truly amazing how many classics Don put into circulation and you have to remember that much of this happened in the pre-internet days. I will miss him.

He was not at the ACD annual reunion.

To source the correct rebuild kit, you first need to know what brand of pump you have. Next you need to read the pump number on the mounting flange. AC pump rebuild kits are available through Then and Now Automotive. I don't know if rebuild kits are available for Airtex or Carter pumps.

Both Carter and Airtex made replacement pumps. I will rebuild an AC pump once I find a good core. I will call CASCO or Hills. thanks

What is the correct AC fuel pump number for a 1956 Thunderbird with vacuum wipers ?

If those fenders were for sale at the swap meet in Auburn in September, you would choke at the asking price. What is hurting them is the location.

The cylinders are 810 & 812 Cord main shift cylinders, which sit on the top of the transmission.

looking for exhaust deflectors for a 1956.
thanks, mike

If it is complete, with the choke coil and the top cover is not warped, as much as $400. Subtract $100 if the choke coil is missing. If the top cover is warped, it's parts and not worth much.

The first thing to do is clean up the connections on the Startix and to the generator.

This is a must have for anyone with a 56 or 57 Lincoln. Our Mark II was replaced in 1968 because of a bad steering box ( a replacement could not be found in those pre internet days). If I owned a Mark II, I'd own this steering box. The well known seller is a double bonus.

I think Classic Car Investments is Bob Adams Jr.

I figured you were already aware of this. All in jest of course , but please try to avoid harvesting Canadian cars. Those of us up here still foolish enough to try have an interest in the hobby are are scraping a barrel that has been picked to the bone for 50 years now. Gets pretty discouraging as the decades roll past.
The reality is that more full classics have been imported into Canada from the USA, than have left Canada, over the past twenty years. There is a very small group responsible for this and they're not very public about it.
There were certainly more classics in Canada after WW2 than there are now, but there are more now tan there was 20 years ago.
