Other people beat me to a warning.

If you can't find one you should just make one out of a piece of aluminum. Easy enough if you have a drill press, a hacksaw and a hole cutter kit.

I would disagree with Bill Hirsch sealer being ok for floats. I tried to use it on a carb float a couple of times and it came off in sheets. I don't think that the floats were exposed to grease or oil. Two things that can be used to seal cork floats are very thin superglue or model airplane Butrate dope. If you use superglue, just be sure to use the thin stuff. If you use new cork you don't actually have to seal it. I have always sealed mine just in case.

I would say go with the nitrophyl. Do not use Bill Hirsch tank sealer as it will not stick to cork very well. Another solution is to collect a few wine corks.

Oldsmobiles were rockets. In the future , post a picture yourself as you were lucky this time that an Olds person answered your post.

But the shipping was expedited! I hope that included insurance.

Not all BB-1s had adjustable mixture.

I would certainly check in all the fuel places. there could be several things such as auburnseeker had that could limit the amount of fuel getting to the carb . What kind of fuel pump does this car have?

You would be best to use a good epoxy primer over bare metal. Unless they are very tiny, you still want to do your best to straighten the metal. If the dings are slight enough , you can use polyester spot putty instead of bondo. Use of older lacquer based spot putty is not recommended. Make sure you know how to use these products as improper uuse can mess things up.

your last item looks to be a very large hub puller.

Wheels may be in bad shape but the wheel hardware should still be good.

Restoration Specialties,814-467-9842 in Windber PA will probably have what you need. Remove an old piece of channel and that will tell you what size you need. Pay attention to the size of the glass used.

You don't have to use it but you will get better paint adhesion if you use one.

Check is on it's way.

Ditto.
Some paint store employee is a little wet behind the ears. If you are using epoxy primer , you don't really need another 2k primer although some people like to use one.

Have you checked if either of your new fuel pumps is actually pumping gas? If not make sure that your gas line is not plugged.

I have also found that a lot of company engine colors varied a bit from car to car so I don't think you need to obsess to much as long as it is close.

That is a very old truck. Radiator looks to be older than 1905 - 1906 or so. Is that the gas tank just ahead of the steering wheel?
-
I have always mixed my own, usually using a collection of paints. A little research into will show you how to match colors.

What would you think would offend anybody Here? Telling people that you like to drive your cars should not offend any reasonable person. Drive on.

An ignition coil works the same way with a positive ground as with a negative ground system. It is possible to hook your coil up backwards and still have the spark plugs fire even though the condenser would not do too much. The coil itself does not care which direction the current flows.

Carbking is strongly prejudiced against Marvel carbs. He is probably right that there are a lot better carbs but if you like authentic stuff and your car came with one, then that's what you want to use. I suspect that this one came off of a Buick from the twenties.
I use one on a 1915 Olds. I have had to do a lot of work to it upgrade float needle, bore out high speed nozzle) but it works well now even if I could put a different carb on it and go faster, I don't want to go faster. Do what dibarlaw says an d save it.

It looks like it is probably a Delco cap from the later twenties that went on some Pierce-Arrows, some Stutzes and a 27 or 28 large Marmon. I seem to recall a previous post in the last month that listed even more applications for this cap.

Sometimes family situations bring out the best and sometimes they bring out the worst in people. Sometimes it makes you wonder about the way in which people think. I hope you get to keep the car and enjoy it but if you can't ,you can't.unfortunately after your dad does pass, you will probably see a lot more people who will be wanting stuff. We all wish you well.
