  1. Bob, I moved and left my Premium Metal Polish behind. I'm pretty disdained about that!!! All I've got with me is turtle wax chrome polish that's been sitting in the back of the garage for 12 years. Definitely need to buy more Dri-wash before May when all the crusin' starts.
  2. Bob Bonto (tech advisor in the ROA for 71-73 Riv's) reccomended to me once to use DWG PREMIUM METAL POLISH. It's a waterless wash type stuff from Dri Wash 'n Guard It's down the page a bit here: https://www.mydwgint.com/cart/DWG_Shopping_Cart.asp Worked beautiful on my bumpers. (And I even polished my silverware with it on rainy days when I was terribly bored). BUT, anyway.. I think it's a great product, and my bumper is not the best specimen at all. I'm just angry that I left it behind when I moved out of my last house!!! I forgot a couple things, but I think I miss my Dri-Wash the most! This is their description of the product: DWG PREMIUM METAL POLISH Polishing metal has never been easier! DWG Premium Metal Polish makes short work of polishing silver, chrome, brass, gold, stainless steel, platinum and other unpainted metal surfaces. DWG Premium Metal Polish works wonders cleaning a wide variety of unpainted metal surfaces. Just as DRI WASH ‘n GUARD® cleans, seals, polishes and protects painted metal surfaces, DWG Premium Metal Polish cleans, restores, and protects unpainted metal surfaces. Simply rub onto the metal surface, allow it to dry, then buff off lightly. It’s that easy! You can then seal and further protect the surface by applying DWG for the Car or Home. DWG Premium Metal Polish is great for: • Mag wheels and chrome bumpers • Decorative brass • Tanker trucks and external fuel tanks • Airplanes, metal canoes, and fishing boats • All the unpainted metal surfaces around your home! Use DWG Premium Metal Polish for polishing and protecting unpainted metal surfaces!
  3. was it also the Long Island Chapter of the BCA that hosted something at KARP Buick/Saab/Volvo in Rockville Centre a few yrs back, or was that something else?
  4. I'd call Antique Auto in TX. That guy Stacy Brown must have anything! Antique Auto Supply, Arlington, TX. (817) 275-2381 He's got over 1 million parts and 6+ warehouses, check their youtube video: I've heard good things about him from some classic car guys.
  5. Hey Bob & Co.: My name is Pete, I was ROA Member 10910 a few years ago. Had a 71 Riv. Bob would probably remember me best by arguing with him back and forth over the e-mail list and my "off-topic" posts. Anyhoo, one day I had asked Bob what he uses to polish his chrome. He referred me to stuff called DRI WASH 'n GUARD Premium Metal Polish. I had such a bad core vehicle (the 71) that I tried the stuff maybe twice, and couldn't get anything out of it. I must now say, I have recently bought a 64 Wildcat, and have actually FOLLOWED the directions on the bottle this time, and man...... my chrome bumper, faded as it was, looks EXCELLENT. I mean, this 44 yr old rear bumper looks maybe... (realistically) 10 yrs old right now. Excellent product, Bob, and thanks for advising me to use it! Considering the bumper has never been re-chromed... this stuff is truly awesome! Link for those of you whom might be interested: http://www.driwashwaterlesscarwash.com/product/DWG-1061
  6. Sorry for the confusion, gentlemen. I am looking for a Sedan. I just missed one here in NY for $700!!!! Someone just didn't realize what they had on their hands and i Missed out on it by TWENTY MINUTES! I've been in talks with a dealership in upstate NY about a beautiful white one.. more than what I wanted to spend- but im still looking for now- my current car must sell before I purchase a Roadmaster... so that's what I'm waiting on. Anyone want a 300ZX? ha... probably not... not anyone on a Buick forum where we all have REAL cars <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Thank you guys, anyway, appreciate it. Please let me know if anyone knows of a Sedan for sale.
  7. If anyone has any leads on the sale of a 94-95 Roadmaster in the Long Island/NYC area. Or even just over the bridge in NJ, please let me know. I'm looking to spend between 2 and 3 grand. I'm interested ONLY in 94 or 95.. Definatley Not 96 because of the new stringent emissions inspections in NY State and not 93 or lower because of the engine difference. Thanks! -Pete
