  1. Hello Gentlemen: New to the website, so hoping this is okay place to ask a question about a 38 flathead six. Need to know the firing order, and which plug wire connection on the dist. cap is #1. I have an engine sitting in a chassis, and want to get it running. The plug wires were loose in the cap and the cap fell off of them when I removed it to look at the points. I can't tell where they go. I put on a 12 volt coil, and installed a 12 volt condenser, and put a ceramic resistor in a hot wire from the battery to the coil. Using a 12 volt battery, it cranks over good and sounds like it would run if the wires were on right. I tried a couple of times thinking I might get lucky, but I ran out of daylight. Thanks much
  2. Sir: Wondering if you would want to sell the body shell (with doors) of that 51 Roadmaster? If there's any chance that you do, I'd be interested in it if you have room to keep it around until March. I'm coming to Vegas with my haul truck then and should have room for it on the return trip. The main interest would be if it has a good floor pan & rockers inner & outer that don't need more than very minor patching. Thanks
  3. Hello Sir: I know you said the grille is gone from the 51 RM, but wondering if the upper grille bar, and the two end pieces that wrap around the front fenders might still be there? Also, do you happen to know if those pieces are the same on 51, and 52 RM's, as I have a 52. If you don't still have them could you advise me as to what kind of money these are worth, as I know where a 51 is that has unbroken pieces on it, and the folks who own it are aware that these pieces are probably pretty hard to find good ones, but they don't know what to try to get out of them. Also, some other parts I'd be interested in if they are the same as 52 would be the door window interior garnish moldings, and window sill pieces that go along the bottom of them including the rear ones around the small windows behind the rear doors on each side. Thanks very much
  4. Shart: Wondering if you might still have the rocker moulding you were trying to get a measurement for. If you still have it I could use it if the length is correct for a 52 Roadmaster four door. 83-1/2 inches seems about the right length, but I'm not sure about a transition piece that would go on the rocker panel below the door trim and if the rocker moulding starts at the front edge of where the door trim meets the rocker panel because I'm also missing the transition pieces and rocker moulding on right side. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
