  1. Dang Pete. I wish I'd read this before you bought the one from Summit. I have a box of these, different types, glass bowls, etc. including one AC unit I've had since I owned my Sedanet, now gone. Oh well. I would have sold it to you for next to nothing, postage and a few bucks. Next time!
  2. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado back-up light lens gaskets. Does anyone make reproductions? I looked at Fusick's site and only saw the lenses, not the gaskets. Appreciate any help. Thanks!
  3. I made a reservation by phone on July 3rd this year. I called ITG, International Hotels Group on July 8. They are apparently the owners of the Strongsville location. The called Holiday Inn Strongsville and spoke to management while I was on hold. When they returned to the phone they stated because it was more than one year before the first day of my reservation their system was unable to email me a confirmation. I called the hotel directly and spoke to Frank at the front desk on July 30 asking for him to email me a reservation. He stated he would. I repeated my email address to Frank to ensure he had it correct. He stated it would be four hours for their system to email me. I checked my email and spam folder multiple times. No email. I waited 28 hours before the next call today, 7-31 and spoke to Frank again. He assured me the email was sent. He said he would use his own company email address to send the confirmation to me directly. I again repeated my email address character by character to make sure he understood it. It is now 625P 7-31. No confirmation received. Has anyone else had this problem with the hotel and how did they solve it? Tomorrow I will call and speak to a manager unless someone on this forum knows the name of our primary contact at this hotel. I'm not comfortable having only a confirmation number. I require more proof of my reservation then one number. Thanks in advance for any reasonable and intelligent suggestions. What me worry? YES, that's me. I have to be sure! Thanks!

  9. 95Cardinal - I think you nailed it! The one on the Cadillac even says Pres-a-lite. I watched the video and it all makes sense now. Thanks guys.
  10. After reading this article about this beautiful car and viewing the photos I can't (neither can my collector car friends) figure out what the little open-lid, bakelite, box device it directly in front of the steering wheel and partially obscuring the speedometer in the bottom photo, page 52. Can someone please enlighten me! Thank you!
  11. Anyone know where to find the correct, OEM 1966 Olds Toronado seat material, fabric and vinyl? Mine are both dark blue. I've been searching and don't see anyone that has it except SMS who I haven't checked with yet. Thanks!
  12. I just finished reading the October Bugle cover-to-cover. It's a blockbuster issue for sure with the CO meet photos, writing, so many good Buick owner stories, etc. Marlene McLaughlin's account of her and Bill's trip from Canada to the meet was a scream! So funny and realistic and entertaining. I felt like I was in the car with them. Thanks to Pete, all of the photographers and the meet chair-people from the Mile High Chapter for an excellent meet. I really enjoyed it.
  13. This ‘78 Riviera LXXV was owned by a good friend in the Kansas City area in 2008 and earlier. This is a copy of the original window sticker. I don’t have the original. If you own this vehicle or know someone who owns it now I’d be glad to communicate with them. I have this image and some detailed photos I took of the car in 2008 I’d be glad to share. Send me a PM. Thanks!
