Come on you young whippersnappers. I' 83 and I just pulled and did some work on the engine in my Reatta. It's going back in today and tomorrow.

Anyone out there have a quick, easy way to turn on both fans at high speed when needed?

I am having the same trouble with my cruise control, only mine works the first time you turn it on.
Then it seems like when it warms up a little it just drops out. I have checked the system and replaced most all of the parts with no luck.
I do have LEDs and regular bulbs in the third brake lights and in the tail lights.

This the information have been looking for . I have been trying to figure out why my cruise will not work.
Mine seems to work until the engine warms up, but it could be until I use the brakes the first time.

You can do the fronts with Camaro dual-piston calipers.

That is correct. For the rear brakes, with the key on, put slight pressure on the pedal and loosen the bleeder, they will bleed themselves.
The front must be bled the old fashion way.

I don't understand why you cannot bleed the brakes. What is stopping you?

It's not that hard to remove the spring. Just one side of the suspension has to be taken apart.

I am trying all ways of lowering the rear that I can think of before spending about $600.00 on the custom coilovers,
plus my expense of machining the parts to convert the suspension.
So, I would like to know if anyone knows if the rear spring is extended when it is compressed.
I mean when it flexes under normal driving. I don't think it does, because it is mounted on both ends and not in the middle.
Normally a spring mounted in the middle would get longer when it is compressed.

It is not attached at the center, it is attached at each end, or close to it.

OK, One more question. What part of the rear spring flexes? The outer edges, or the center section 0r both?
I ask because the spring is held down on both ends not in the middle as a regular spring is.

And are there any one in particular that i should use?

I am going to need some expert advice on this project.
In the attached picture I have the set up I would like to use.
Notice the lack of the spring.
This is a coilover setup with any spring weight I choose.
What I need opinions on is weather or not you think that # 1 will hold 1/4
of the weight of the car?
Please reply anything, so I can get a idea if this is going to work.
