My AC was not blowing cold when I took it to the Buick dealer. The first thing my mechanic did was check the computer. He found two Error codes. both power failing. From when I changed the batterty and some other work I did. He cleared the codes and all of a sudden we had cold air.

My 90 Ac was working ,but poorly. Took to the dealer and my mechanic "Paul" checked the error code first thing. He clearde them and walaaa cold air, or as he put it "It's blowing ice cubes."

Could someone tell me where the fan relay is located? All of a sudden today my temp started to rise. Two clicks past center. The outside temp was only 85. I have just had the rad. flushed at the dealer and all antifreeze replaced. I am not hearing the high speed fan coming on, possibly the relay? JON..

I am looking for a plastic part. It holds down the cover under the hood and covers the AC lines right in front of the windshield. See picture.

After reading all of the info on this forum about brakes I decided to take a close look at the brakes on my 90 coupe. I have only had it for about 3 months so I was afraid they were going to be trouble. I fist took it to my Buick dealer for a look see. The mechanic looked it over pretty good. He told me, and showed me the rusted bolts on the cradle (which I had replaced) and then he told me that the brakes had recently been overhauled. He said it looked like it had new calipers and pads. The car has 113,000 miles and was owned by a Doctors wife nearby, I am the second owner. The engine compartment is very clean,as is the rest of the car, so it is hard to tell what has been replaced. Now with all that background, My question is. Should I have the brake system flushed? I have not done the brake test yet. I plan on doing it as soon as I can. Any input would be appreciated. JON...

I am in need of a "Finned cooling pipe" as the manual calls it. Otherwise known as a Power steering cooler. Mine is rusted and the fins have a lot of corrosion between them. Can anyone help???

It's called a cradle.

My driver's side window works, but it is slow and if I use it say twice within a minute it stops working for about 30 seconds. Then it will continue up or down. I think that the motor is overheating and want to replace it. Could it be the switch?? and not the motor? JON...

Re: previous post.. I wish I could spell. I am 5'11" tall and I find that no matter how I set the seat, my head is still a half inch form the roof. Thsi causes a few lumps on the haed on a rough road. Is there a fix for this? Other than cutting the top off.

I have just finished replacing the Ign. system, plug wires and spark plugs. What a difference. Did the Reatta come with metal shields on all the spark plugs? I only found one and it was on #4 plug. Just wondering.......

When your engine and trany fall on to the street, you will wish you had replaced the cradle bolts and bushings. Rust is the big factor here. My Buick dealer showed me a Riv. that had them fail at 45 mph. It wasn't a pretty sight. That's the best reason I can think of to replace them. JON..

I am about to do the ign. change over, and I understand that I have to disconnect the battery to get the last hold down bolt off. What I need to know is what do I have in store for me when I reconnect it? What do I have to reset? JON...
