  1. If I wanted to hook the B/U lights to this where would the wire go? I suspect it is going to go to the Hot, but I just want to be sure before I hook it up. The mirrow works great, but I can see where a night time B/U would be better if the mirror was returned to clear. Thanks in advance Rick
  2. Does the wire to the B/U lights have to be connected too?? Thanks in advance
  3. Just got an auto dimming rear view mirror and was wondering how the hook up can be done. There are three wires off the mirror, one black (I assume is the ground) one solid green and one is pink with a black stripe. Can someone give me an idea of where these wires go. Thanks in advance.
  4. Right now I have a 1985 2M6 auto that I am currently restoring. Parts aren't nearly as hard to find as Reatta parts. I found a place in Lebanon Conn. That has BUCO Fiero Parts. They are a fun car BUT NO protection in a crash. As for the Reatta parts.....................hello Jim !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Looking to sell my 89 Reatta Cpe. Car has 181K miles and is in good shape. Have done lots of repairs and replacement of parts. Need room for other project cars. Don't want to part this out, wan to sell whole. Car driven daily and has current inspection/registration.Photo's on request Tranch01@hotmail.com $1200.00 or BRO
  6. Well it has been a wonderful 2 years with the Reatta, but now it's time for me to part ways with her. I'm looking to get $1200.00 for it. It's a black on Garnet Red Cpe. All the instruments work and all the guage pods are bright. Just replaced the w/s a few months ago. Need to make room for other projects. Car is driven daily but it drew the short straw. E Mail me if anyone is interested.
  7. I replaced my fuel tank recently and have just started driving the car again. How long will it take for the car to start reading the correct MPG's. Also what is it that the car uses to gather the MPG info. Does the gas guage and speedometer run in unison and calculate the MPG. If so if you haave a bad gas guage will it give a false reading to the MPG calculations ? Thanks for replies
  8. Get in touch with Jim Finn more than likely he'll have what you need jfinn@cpinternet.com
  9. I just replaced the gas tank in the Reatta and noticed that there is a brake line leak on the left rear where the L&R rear brake lines converge. There is a round cylinder shaped part #*935844T00035929* is this a dealer avail item? I am going to replace it as one of the brake lines going into it is corroded and that is where the leak is. Any Idea of cost and avail???? Thanks in advance...
  10. I just had my insurance company cover the cost of replacement for the w/s in my Reatta. I understand the cost was somewhere in the neighborhood of $1800.00 including the labor and freight charges from somewhere in Georgia. Lucky for me I took the Comp/Collision on the car. I uncovered the car a while ago and it appeared that a tree btanch broke off and clobbered the w/s and lft/pillar post.
  11. Yes Speedway is the place I was thinking of. Has anyone done business with them? Thanks BlackReatta
  12. I happened to see a place in Phoenix Arizona that has numerous Reatta's listed as parts cars, but for the damn of me I can't find it again. Is there someone out there that knows of this place and has the web address??
  13. Found a gas tank on EBay, the problem is do we really have only 18 gallon tanks as the onr onE bay is listed as?? I also found a Sending unit for 89 and straps too.
  14. Looking for a gas tank and a sending unit for a 1989 Reatta. Mine is leaking and I guess the way to go is to replace the entire unit with a LKQ or new one. Someone please point me to a vendor that can ship these to me. Thanks LilRik
  15. Well here goes. I replaced the harmonic balancer a few weeks ago and I noticed recently that the pulley was either bent ot misaligned. When I took the balancer off I noticed that the two metal sheilds that run in the crank shaft positioning sensor where, what looked like to me, out of line. I checked them against the old one and sure as heck they were. Well now that I have the new harmonic balancer in the car the "Sputtering" has stopped and the mileage has increased to 23.6 mpg on the highway. Oh I also replaced the crank sensor too.
