  1. Thanks for the info, Buick Racer. My father is a retired employee and we want to see the Center but we can't come until July. We live in Louisiana and the BCA event would be a stop on our summer vacation. At least I know now we can register for the Center tour without having to bring a car. I don't think my dad wants to drive his 51 buick from Louisiana to Michigan!! Thanks again!!!
  2. I would like to know what rooms are still available. I tried to book yesterday and had to find a room about 20 miles away. Can you mention hotel names on this site or not? Thanks
  3. I need some info on who can attend the GM Heritage Center Tours during the BCA Meet.I read on the website it is not open for daily tours. Can GM retirees and their families visit the center without going on the Tour through BCA? I am not presently a member of the BCA but am planning on attending the meet in July. If I'm not a member and do not have a buick car to register for the show, I own 4 antique vehicles at this time, all GM,just not a buick, YET!!!! can I still register and get to take the tour to the Heritage Center? I looked on the BCA site for info but thought maybe someone could give me clarification. Thanks!!
  4. Thanks for the info. I already purchased the logo stencil so I plan on spraying the lettering. I will try the decals if my painting doesn't look good.
  5. I need to know what is or was the name of the yellow paint used on the 55 engine to write "Oldsmobile Rocket". I have the green engine paint I need but not sure about where to find the yellow. Thanks for any help!
  6. I could also use this information. Just purchased a 55 olds 98 and want to restore to original but don't want to purchase an original dealer showroom book. Isn't there any other source for color and paint schemes, including interiors. I'm interested in what the interior choices were for the Glen Green metallic and polar white exterior colors. Thanks for any info.
  7. YEP, that's what I thought!!!! Looked good and almost bid but then didn't think it was really worth the money. Found another 98 in good shape to purchase. I definitely don't that olds on ebay was worth 10,000.00!!!
  8. Thanks for the resource. I am in the process of purchasing the 98, picking it up on Friday, so I want to begin the hunt to restore it like new. Any other resources are greatly appreciated.
  9. I'm looking for a resource to find out the seat covering choices which were available on the 1955 98 4door sedan. Looking to have seats redone and would like to go as original as possible. Thanks for any info!
