  3. Here is a picture of one of the heaters from an old warehouse find. The boxes are not in the best shape, but they did the job to protect these heaters for 80 years. Also, I mis-type the years are mainly 1930 and 1931. These would be a easy double or triple in $$$ for a swap meet vendor. If you have any questions please email me directly at: estatecars@earthlink.net http://
  4. Hi guys, I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Some of the different makes are Auburn, Chrysler, Desoto, Dodge, Ershine, Graham, Hudson, Hupmobile, Nash, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Studebaker and Willys Knight. I see now most are 1930 and 1932. Thanks for your interest
  5. Wow, a swap meet sellers dream. Approx. 35-40 new in the box Francisco Manifold heaters from the 1920's to early 1930's. I am not a swap meet seller, just a buyer, so I don't want to deal with them. Should bring $150.00 to $300.00 each. You do the math. I would sell all for $2,000 fob St.Paul, Minnesota. No charge for packing up these for shipping. Buyer pays for the shipping in the lower 48. I think all would fit into an applicance box and shipped via truck line. Francisco heater slogan was "June Heat in December". First one to email me will be the Winner. email me directly at: estatecars@earthlink.net

  11. The Willys Knight has been Sold. Sorry, too late on this one guys. I still have the much rarer and much better condition 1927 Velie Slant Windshield Sport Sedan For Sale. See my previous post for info on the Velie. Thanks
  12. 1927 Velie Sport Sedan One of only 2 or 3 in the world. The best looking car made in 1927. Rakish Slant windshield and modern door post. Overhead valve engine made by Velie. Velie was the grandson of John Deere. Mfg. From 1908 till 1928. 100-year anniversary last year Sept. 2nd 2008 in Moline IL. I drove it from St. Paul to Moline and back, ran perfect!!! Big demand by John Deere collectors. Known history from day one. Original owner lived in Dassel Minnesota who owned the general store. 2nd & 3rd owners owned the car in the late 50’s. 4th owner owned the car till the late 1980’s. I purchased it from the museum from the 4th owner. Completely rebuild engine better than new. New brakes. Original fancy mohair upholstery with fancy designs cut into the mohair. Repainted in the late 1950’s. Runs great, stops great, cools great. Rare Car!! Price $27,500.00 or Best Offer
  13. RARE 1930 W-K Rumble Seat Coupe. Top of the Line in 1930 !!!! Original Sleeve valve Hemi. Runs great. Famous designed by Amos Northup. Car looks like a small 1930 Cadillac V-16. Big headlights, swepted belt line on the hood from the center of the radiator down thru the cowl. Clam shelled flowing front fenders . Great dashboard with wood grain and copper accents on the dash and inside door handles and cranks. The dash looks like an old Atwater Kent radio-neat!! This actual car was used in the 1970’s movie “Paper Moon” with Tatam and Ryan O’neil. I have pictures and a video showing the car in the movie and on the set. I have the history from the early 1950’s. Car collector owned the car from Missouri. After the movie it was displayed in the new car dealership in Texas. I think he sold Chevrolet. It was sold to a collector in California in the 1990’s. I bought it out of the estate 4 or 5 years ago. Solid body, no dents, weak paint, chrome and upholstery in the cockpit. I would preserve the original Spanish grain leather in the rumble seat. I think this coupe looks better than any 32-34 Ford coupe. As with both cars (my 27 Velie which is For Sale), new tires and tubes. I think less than a 10 coupes have survived. First $20,000 before a street rodder buys it and destroys it.

  16. Is the 1934 Chrysler conversion kit hood "grill" the same as a 1935 Chrysler "grill"?? Is the center vertical chrome piece the same, as well as the horizontial chrome pieces?? Should the hood handle be the same as used on a 34 waterfall grill/hood or the type used on a 35 grill/hood?? I guess what I am asking will the parts from the 35 grill interchange with the parts that should be on the 1934 conversion grill.I am in need of the center vertical chrome piece as well as a couple of the horizontial chrome pieces and maybe the hood handle. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Thanks!!! Jim

  20. Thanks Brian & George for you great help. The Block had embossed numbers 32974 and above that 3-6-9.The valve cover says Vertical 8 number 30923.The oil rectifier is a "Wall".I did find the correct Delco Starter.I need the model number on the Generator and Distributor. Is the fan blade a 4 blade fan?? I am still looking for the fan blade and assembly, water pump, carb.generator, distributor,Clutch, fly wheel and other misc items that attach to the block. I did find a tranny box with the name Detroit on it.All apart with several gears.I'm trying to figure out what items I should be looking for that fit into various holes & flanges on each side of the block, front and back as well as the intake manifold besides the carb.I won't have time to look for more parts for several days, but will when I can.Any info, or pictures sure will help save this engine. Thanks again, Jim
