I don't know exactly what happened to my "Reatta Blues" post. Sincere thanks to all those who've e-mailed or posted to me about the incident and/or individual. My post was an honest description of what happened in SE Wisconsin last week. It was written in the hopes of warning any other potential victims out there. However, I didn't know this kind of censorship went on here in the forum...I guess I was wrong about that too. I'm a retired Air Force field medic, currently finishing my education degree in order to become a teacher. I'm an honest and honerable man...and what was done to me just wasn't right. I gave Randy a chance to do the honerable thing...but he didn't even contact me. So...I think I'll take my leave of this forum. As I said in my earlier post, I don't even want to see another Reatta...let alone own one. Kevin G.

I just wanted to let everyone know about something that happened to me on ebay. I'd bid on a 91 Reatta over a month ago, and today received 2 e-mails offering a "second chance" to buy it now...at a much lower price than it had gone for. The catch (and what made me leary) was that an immediate deposit was required thru pay-pal. This e-mail "looked" absolutely authentic and even had real links to ebay. I've been in contact w/ebay customer service and they've confirmed that it was a false "spoof" e-mail. I just wanted to warn anyone who might come across something like this in the future...this kind of garbage makes me very angry (+ I really wanted that darned Reatta...lol)

Were there any 90/91 Reattas that didn't have pinstripes from the factory? I tried the search for this but came up empty. Thanks.....

The K&N filter definitely made a difference in my Reatta! I now use them in any vehicle I own, and also recommend them to anyone.

I was actually interested in that car but became more and more leary of the seller! First, there was a false VIN # on the ebay ad that the owner wouldn't explain? He did give out his phone # but then wouldn't really say anything other than "it's a great car...don't worry, you'll love it," then was very rude when questioned at all about the cars condition/VIN/etc, and then wouldn't respond to e-mails? I was quite glad to see that auction end without a single bid.

Thanks Jim, I saw that ad. However, there's a wrong VIN # listed, the seller has zero feedback, and hasn't returned my messages? So...I was a little leary about that one.

Well, I've seriously regreted getting rid of my black 1990 coupe since the morning after someone made me "an offer I couldn't refuse." Now, I'd really like to find a 91, in good condition, and probably black in color. Thanks.............. P.S. I know this is a rare car, but this forum is so informative & cool...I just thought I'd give it a shot?
