Tried to open pictures of car but always got error message.

Took my tires off and noticed some of the lug nut covers were missing. Where is a good place to get some more? Still trying to buy a service manual on Ebay for an 89.
While the wheels are off I noticed what appears to be quite a bit of rust on the front end and exhaust system. The car is from Kansas but maybe it lived somewhere else before?
Any tips on taking out rocks nicks on my wheels?
Could some of the trim be aluminum or is it all stainless?
Thanks.

I believe that is the time the car is in the garage covered up.

I was 16 and after school my 65 mustang had a dead battery. No problem my friends could just push me and pop the clutch right. After 4 blocks of fruitless attempts I remembered to turn the switch on and it started right up!!!
Also 16, that was a good year. Stuck my stepdads ford company car in a 100' long mud hole in Montana. Those aren't that hard to find. A guy in a four wheel drive towed me out backwards as I reved the hell out of it per my stepdad.
He said that was hardest time he ever had pulling out someone. Thats when I noticed the car had been in park the whole time. Well live and learn I say.
How about the time I was riding on the running board of my friends pickup truck. That wasn't so bad till he started driving in the ditch. Or my first go-cart that had no brakes and had to spin out to stop. Now my wife frowns on that kind of driving. Wheres the fun anymore?

I am logging into turbododge to reply. This looks like it might be a manual for the car and not a service or shop manual. Ill try to check this out.
Thanks.

I walked across the dirt road in front of my Moms house and looked in the old white wooden garage that had half the paint peeling off. The neighbor had the door up and was gone for awhile. I gently picked up the back rear corner of the light blue car cover and saw a beautiful purplely 2 dr coupe with a purplely leather inside. I saw on the rear "Chrysler TC by Maserati" and wondered what in the world is that! But whats the best memory? It took seven years but now the 89 TC sits in my garage with a new car cover!

I have been checking on ebay and didn't get the last two 89 manuals. Almost the high bidder on both. Please email me if you know where I can get one. Love my TC but still conditioning the leather seats. They are getting better though. My ashtray cover came off and wont pop on. Glue it on? I also could use a cigarette lighter if someone has one. Not that I would smoke in my TC. Thats for the tires. Ha Ha I don't think my automatic is up for that yet. Booster valve here I come. Really enjoy all the posts and have fun on the cruise.

Thanks for the web site and the replies. It appears I have real black leather and I think it looks good. I also like the real plastic wood you have although not as much as I wood (ha ha) the real thing. Is there a number on how many have the wood and how many don't?

I have only seen the inside of one TC, mine. It's an 89 without any wood trim. I saw a post where someone mentioned wood trim. Could someone post a picture of this or send an email. The pictures I have seen I couldn't tell much about the interior.
Thanks.

Looking for right rear tail light lenses. brwriston@comcast.net

The TC pages are right. Change those high pressure fuel lines. As I was backing my beautiful 4 month old 89 TC out of my garage last November for a short ride I saw I was leaving a huge line of some liquid. Radiator maybe I thought. I pulled back into the garage and popped the hood and found one of the high pressure fuel lines to the turbo charger leaking like a lawn sprinkler head at the clamp. Needless to say I don't have a very good nose. These were probably the original lines. After changing my pants I went to 3 dealers in Denver but finally found and bought the good hoses and clamps. TC's rock.

I don't want to find out myself but if someone has an idea it would be nice to know. And how do they handle up that way?

Thanks for the info. That sounds like the way to go.

I am looking at purchasing an 89 tc. It has an a/c leak. Estimate is $91 to charge and test and $191 to fill. Can any car repair place do this? And do you think this is a good price? Any particular problems with a/c? Also could use a rr tail light lens and rf light lens. This is an auto with 2.2 liter. Any news on these engines and the car in general. Hope to join the club next week.
Thanks, much.
Bent k frame (sub frame), bent frame, and broken axles
in Chrysler's TC by Maserati

My question is how hard is it to replace the k frame (sub frame) and axles. I can change the oil but this is a whole lot different. Okay quit laughing! Oh well go ahead.
Thanks,
Bill
