  1. Looks good, estimated 3 owners, no problems or red flags. Not sure if I should post the whole report here, so email me and I'll send it to you. bob@techturds.com
  2. I went to Jim Finn's and picked up a perfect working dash for $150. Ended up spending 4 hours hanging out before my wife got tired of sitting in the car and made me leave . Got plenty of other good parts also. What a great guy.
  3. Called Mr. Whizard today. They said they could fix it for $199.00.
  4. I just bought a 1990 Reatta with the dash not working. Everything on my car works except for the dash, nothing else even has so much as a slight glitch. I can press the test switch and all the warning lights on the bottom of the display will light: Electrical Problem, Service AC, Service Engine, ect....(and none come on by thier own) But never does the rest of the dash come on, or display an error. Temp and hitting or flexing do not help it. I have the dash out right now, planning to test for bad components and to resolder connections. I read somewhere that a person who fixes these replaces 2 transistors and reworks an IC. So if anyone can give me a heads up on what to look for or might have some advice... Thanks
