  9. well the time has come to chose between the recent and the old..both are gettin to be space takers. so the reattas must go, you cant drive and maintain old cars ,newer ones, and daily drivers !....I have always been a GS man so its a no brainer for me, though I have totally enjoyed all the reattas we have owned.... so,with that said, I am looking to trade my black '89 reatta for a '71-2 sportwagon in excellant shape.....I dont want any rusty beat up ,million mile wagons if thats a barometer...it needs to be a well maintained driver type. heres the particulars on the reatta...its black with 116k miles, fresh tune up,tranny service, plugs wires etc. K&N air filter....it has the lumbar/recline seat option, the interior is very nice with exception of the headliner coming down...air needs a recharge but no issues mechanically with that system that I am aware of, just time for a shot of cold juice..headlamps work as intended no open/close issues so common on these cars.........tires are recent goodyear regattas and the brakes were just done a month ago with genuine gm parts...there is a current EO22 code which my dealer cant seem to correct or maybe doesnt care to put the time into ...anyway the car is clean and straight and drives out real nice..a little tlc is all thats needed......I simply no longer want to afford the time/space for 3-4 reattas ,2-3 gran sports and 2 daily drivers, ...I think you can empathize with me......again I am looking to trade it not sell it.......email me direct at peedenmark7@hotmail.com thanks, john

  22. hi guys, you have piqued my curiosity, I am basically a purist when it comes to originalitly on my gs cars ,but on the convert gs I just bought it has a true hei dist. in it,love the way it runs, but it interferes with the way the ram air sits on the carb so it needs to go,I was lucky enough to get the original distributor and was going to reinstall it. ...I have looked at the ignitor system in the past but never really gave it much thought till now.... so what is all involved in the installation of this unit, I know I will have an extra wire? but I will use an original distributor correct?? your thoughts? thanks, john
