  1. Hello, Just letting Toronado enthusiasts know about the new forums at toronado.org Toronado.org • View forum - Toronado Forums Mikel
  2. I'm trying to contact these two people - Both lived in Colorado in the 80's and were OCA members. If you know any of them, please email me at bw1339 at yahoo.com Thank you. Mikel
  3. You can ask the Toronado.org list. To join (free) you need to send an email to thelist@toronado.net with the word "subscribe" in the subject line. There are many knowledgeable early Toro people there. Mikel 1966 Toronado
  4. I strongly suggest you join the Toronado mailing list. It is full of very knowledgeable early Toro people. To join, just send a blank email to thelist@toronado.net with the word "subscribe" (no quotation marks) in the subject line. Good luck. Mikel 1966 Toronado
  5. I shipped my 66 Toronado from CO to CT for $795 with Dash Auto Transport (do a google search). If you only want to ship large items, such as seats, I would try www.forwardair.com Good luck. Mikel
  6. Hello, The Comfortron in my 66 Toronado is not working. I'm a bit afraid of taking the car to a normal A/C place. Does anyone know of a good place (hopefully near CT) that can fix my Comfortron? Thanks, Mikel
  7. If you are interested (It is a GREAT resource for early Toronados), to join all you have to do is send a blank email to thelist@toronado.net with the word "subscribe" (no " ") in the subject line.
  8. I know I'm always proselitizing, but are you a member of the Toronado list? Mikel 1966 Toronado
  9. I just fixed my 66 Toronado's. The turn signal switch is bolted to the left of the steering column and is actuated by a wire. You DON'T need to take the steering colun apart. Just lower it so you can access the switch, take it apart, clean it with some fine sand paper, adjust the wire, and it will be as good as new. Email me if you have any questions. Mikel (bw1339@yahoo.com)
  10. Hello, I'm trying to contact Peter Ketcham. If you know where I could reach him, please email me at bw1339@yahoo.com Thanks, Mikel

Ol' T. Rex has sure been deep in my bank accounts the whole 17 years I've owned him... sometimes I think it would have been cheaper to have a kid! </div></div> If you think a Toronado is bad enough.... I also have a 1969 Jeep M715 (Military 5/4 ton Pick-up). Jeep = Just Empty Every Pocket If you are looking for a cheaper way to spend your time, I recommend drugs. Much cheaper than Oldsmobiles or Jeeps
  12. Hi, I have a 66 Toronado too and I have the same problem. The steering column changed in 67 and the 66 turn signal switch is almost impossible to find. Are you a member of the Toronado mailing list? If not, I strongly recommend you join this list. Lots of great people who like early Toronados there... To join, send a blank email to thelist@toronado.net with the word subscribe in the subject line. Good luck, Mikel
