  1. The headliner on my sunroof has fallen down so time to replace. My car is a '90, Driftwood exterior with a beige/brown interior (sorry, don't know the offical interior color name). Does anybody know where I can get factory headliner material or material that matches the rest of the headliner. Thanks
  2. I recently recalled that in early 1991 I rented a driftwood colored coupe from what I believe was National car rental. If it wasn't National then it was another major car rental agency. I had rented the car with idea of evaluating it for purchasing a Reatta but it had so many problems (poorly maintained) it turned me off to the car until I purchased my convertible a few years later. Any information on these rentals and have any turned up (via CarFax search)?
  3. Coop, Thanks for the part # update as I have the old number that was supplied to me by the local dealer. I also plan on using GMpartsdirect; great deal on prices.
  4. Thanks GM Ross for your reply. In regards to the Delco OEM struts I was told that Gabriel supplies them to GM. But not sure if it's true but I am also going to find out what Gabriel struts sell for. Interestingly, my previous experience with SensaTracs is they were a bit stiff. Any feedback on Gabriel struts would be appreciated Thank you.
  5. My recently acquired '91 convertible needs new struts/shocks. Any feedback in regards to Delco replacements vs. Monroe Sensatracs? The price is about the same so it really comes down to peformance characteristics. Thank you for your feedback.
  6. I own two convertibles; a '90 and '91. I have owned the '90 since '94 buying it from a local Buick dealer. It came with chrome wheels which are Reatta wheels but chromed. I have never seen another Reatta with chromed Reatta wheels and have seen no lit to indicate it was a factory option. Any insight into this - factory option or dealer installed option? My '91 is a recent purchase and has white wheels as it has a white exterior. I believe I have seen (although not sure) '91's with "brushed" aluminum wheels without paint. What is the norm for '91 wheels - Paint or no paint and was the paint color coordinated with the car color? Thank you in advance for the info. Also, both cars are listed in the Reatta database.
  7. The center-mounted light does work when the brake pedal is pushed. Just the brake lights in the tail light occasionally stays on regardless of brake pedal position.
  8. On my '90 convertible my brake lights sometimes stay on (but NOT the center high-mounted brake light). I remove and re-install the 20amp body fuse and everything works fine for awhile. I suspect a relay of some type. If anyone can give me some insight into this I would appreciate it. Thank you, Brad
  9. My '90 CD player was always very sporadic in playing CD-R's. I recently had it rebuilt and it plays CD-R's far more consistantly but will still occasionally show "error". The place that rebuilt my CD stated that these CD players were not designed to play CD-R's and as such would not guarantee CD-R playback. I am happy with my CD player's performance now so I guess I just got lucky on the rebuild.
  10. Thank you Barney and Jim for the info. The car does have a CD player so it should be pretty straight forward
  11. Is their any differences between the radio and CD player between 1990 and 1991? I have an opportunity to put a fully rebuilt set-up from a 1990 into my 1991. Another concern is that not being the original radio/CD would that affect the value of the car? Thanks
