  1. Can anyone tell me if this is a Chevrolet part, and if so, what year? At Hershey someone told me he thought it was Chevrolet but did not know the year. Also, what is it correctly called? Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. I came across these two grease fittings. They appear to be reservoirs that can be filled and will provide additional grease. I can read the word Simplex on them. Does anyone know anything about these?
  3. Any help identifying these items will be greatly appreciated. I've been told the amp gauge might be for a Ford truck. Can anyone confirm that and provide the year? The door jamb hardware is 5 inches long and the large holes are 3 3/4 inches apart. Someone suggested Chevrolet but did not know the year. I have no idea what the other hardware is for. Thank you in advance for your help.
  4. Over the years I have accumulated these grease fittings. Mostly I have owned cars that used Alemite fittings and I don't recall where these came from. Can anyone identify these and provide information such as name/manufacturer, where used, vintage, etc.? Thanks in advance for your help.
  5. Can anyone tell me what this is or what it came off of? Thank you in advance.
  6. Thank you very much for the great information! My lens measures about 1/16" under the 12" OD and about 1/16" under the 11 1/8" prism diameter. The notches are exactly as you listed. That appears to make it a 1200-T. Thanks again.
  7. The only numbers I can find on it are the patent numbers and "12 I. G. C."
  8. I have a flat headlight lens labeled Twilite Lens. The overall diameter is just under 12 inches and the portion inside the flange measures 11 inches. It is manufactured by the Monogram Lens Corp., Detroit. Pats. are 11-23-20, 7-3-23, and 3-29-27 and "12 I.G.C." is on the flange Can anyone tell me if this is for a specific year/make of car or is it an aftermarket item? Thank you in advance.
  9. Can anyone identify this bumper? It is 1 3/4" wide and 60 1/4" long. The holes at the end are 5/8". Because it is only 1 3/4" wide, I'm thinking it might be one of two or more that would make up an entire bumper assembly. Thank you in advance for your help.
  10. Can anyone identify this fog and parking light assembly? "Fog" is on the bottom of the larger light. Thanks for your help.
  11. With the help of Forum Members, I have identified two Lincoln radiators that I have and need to sell. The '42-'48 has been spoken for and so the '38 -'39 is the only one remaining. I can deliver it to Hershey and I will be leaving here on 10/3 so if anyone is interested, please send me an offer. I will accept the first reasonable offer greater than salvage value prior to 9/29. There is some rust damage as shown in the pictures.
  12. I sent you a message to see if we can work something out.
  13. Right Front Fender for sale. I believe it is for 1929 Cadillac. Any assistance in confirming ID will be greatly appreciated. Fender is in excellent condition with only surface rust. I can deliver it to Hershey to save buyer shipping costs. $650
  14. I've been asked if these radiators are for Lincoln Zephyrs and for Lincoln Continentals. Are they the same for both models?
  15. Thanks for that information. I can't find any numbers on the tank on the right, but the one on the left has a 26H with a line under that and an A2 below the line. Does that help with an ID?
  16. I have two radiators that I think might be for Lincolns. One was marked 1941 when I got it, the other has no markings. Can anyone help me identify them? I need to find a new home for them and I could deliver them to Hershey if anyone is interested. I hate to sell them for scrap if someone can use them. The one on the left in the pictures is marked '41. The core is 3" thick and about 19" x 25 1/2". The tank is 4 1/2" tall and the hose size is 1 3/4". The other one has a 3 1/2" thick core that measures about 18' x 24" and the tank is 6 1/2" high. This one has a drain on the left water outlet. Thanks for any help in advance.

  18. I'd like to find and re-read a couple of my old threads. When I go to the search tab, I see that I can search by author. I put my name there, but then I do not know what to do next. Am I trying to do something that can't be done? Thanks for all help in advance.
  19. In 1962, a Navy (and old car) friend and I, while on leave from the Navy, took a drive in eastern Pennsylvania looking for old cars. We thought we hit the Mother Lode when we came upon this place that is in the attached pictures. We wandered around the place and eventually talked to a gentleman who let us in to look around. It was a great day for us, but we were in no position to do anything other than look and dream of the day when we would be able to pursue the hobby. If you look closely at the picture with the No Trespassing Sign, you will see the junk yard dog keeping a watchful eye on us. I do not remember where we were but it seems like Pottstown comes to mind. Does anyone know where this place was and the history both before and after the early 1960s?
  20. Does anyone know if this vacuum tank top is for a specific car, and if it is, which one? It is unlike any of the others I have seen. Thank you
  21. In my file of information on restoration suppliers I found this sheet on George's Restorations that I probably picked up at Hershey. The sheet is not dated, but it is recent enough to have had an e-mail address. It was located in Fairhaven, MA. Does anyone know if this business still exists or was bought by someone else? I Goggled the name and came up with a current business by this name but he said he knows nothing about the trunk restoration business. Thanks for your help. Scan_Doc0004.pdf
  22. For Sale - 1931 Cadillac V-8, V-12 Radiator Shell. Excellent condition, straight with only minor repairs needed in addition to new chrome. One area needing repair is between the crank hole cover and the side which is bent slightly out of shape as can be seen in the pictures. There is also a small dent on one side. $800.00 Contact catalan9@verizon.net for more information or pictures.
  23. Can anyone identify this tail light? I'm hoping the bracket will provide a clue. Thank you in advance.
  24. There are some numbers written inside the cap - not original to the cap. They are "284 607cl" I'm not sure about the c and the l could be a 1. The cap seems unusual to me because the ID is smooth - no threads. The ID is 3".
