  1. Can anyone tell me what these door handles are for? They came with some Lincoln Zephyr parts, but don't match the handles I can see in pictures I found. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
  2. I'm currently considering purchase of a new enclosed car trailer. It has to be 22 or 24 feet in length and must have an aluminum frame as weight is an important consideration for me. What I have learned so far is that Featherlite trailers are at or near the top of the line of aluminum frame trailers, but their price isn't just high - it is about double the price of other brands. There are other brands with aluminum frames - inTech, Lightning, Quest, and probably more. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with these or others that would help me make a choice? Also, any features or updgrades that are vital would help. Thanks in advance.
  3. Turns out it is an after market (probably Regal) for the '38 Buick. Thanks for your help.
  4. It has been suggested that this locking handle might be for a late '30s Buick. Can anyone confirm the ID of this handle? thanks for your help.
  5. Thanks - I will let you know if I find out.
  6. Is this a Lincoln Zephyr trunk handle? Also, is it for any specific year or years? Thank you
  7. I drained the anti freeze today to fix a leak and since it has been in the car (1930) about 10 years I'm thinking I should put new anti-freeze in it. I've been using a 50-50 mix of the standard green/yellow type. I recall reading or hearing about some issues with new anti freeze but do not remember what or where I read it. I apologize if this subject has been discussed before, but could not find anything on a search. The radiatior and cooling system had been cleaned before I put it in before and it looks clear now. Can anyone shed some light on the issue? Thanks in advance.
  8. the mounting screw holes are 2 inches apart
  9. Thank you Rick - I'm sure it is an after market mirror, but what I'm wondering is : was it made for Ford cars, and for what years? Didn't several years of Fords in the late 50s have a ridge in the top of the front fender that the two legs on this mount would straddle?
  10. Is this fender mirror for a Ford, and is it for a specific year or model? Thanks for your help.
  11. I have a Stomberg Carb that I would like to ID. It has a B with a smaller 2 next to it on the body. Also, there is a 1 1/32 in a circle on the body, and an EE1 cast into the base. Are any of these numbers the designation of this carb.? Were these carbs used on Lincoln Zephyrs? Thanks for any help.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  14. Are these Lincoln Zephyr water pumps? They have numbers like 86H-3505 and 86H-8592B but I don't know if those are the casting numbers or part numbers. Also, I might be slightly off on those numbers. Thanks for any help.
  15. Thank you for your help. Is "Town Limousine" the correct name for this body style that should be used when advertising it?
  16. A friend wants to sell this 1938 Lincoln Zephyr. I think it is a Formal Sedan. It was driven to local shows until a couple years ago. Any help in establishing an approximate value will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  17. I got this cable with some '30s Cadillac parts, but the ends are not like what I know are on the early 30's cables. Can anyone tell me what make/model used this cable? It is 74" long. Thanks in advance for any help.
  18. Can anyone ID this cable? It is 74" long. The speedometer end of the inner cable is round with a small key. Thanks in advance for any help.
  19. CAN ANYONE HELP ME IDENTIFY THESE PARTS? THEY CAME WITH SOME OTHER LINCOLN ZEPHYR PARTS. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
  20. I have ten pieces of '40 Lincoln Zephyr trim for sale as in the attached picture. Price is $25 or best offer and I will deliver to Hershey in October so there will be no cost for shipping. I think I might have some other parts for this car and would like to send some pictures to anyone who would be willing to look at them to see if there is anything they can identify. Thanks in advance. - E-mail me at catalan9@verizon.net
  21. Thank you everyone for considering my need. Stan and Bonnie are going to Moline in August and have offered to pick the vise up. I'll get it from them when I go to Hershey.
  22. Greetings - I am the person who Wayne made the initial post for - Alan Merkel , 804-435-7143 , catalan2@peoplepc.com. The tool is an antique bench vise. The jaws are 7" x 18" and the screw through the center of the jaws is 28" long. Shipping it is a problem because if they are dropped the cast iron jaws can be broken and this just happened to me a few weeks ago. The seller of this one will not ship it because building a crate is the only way to do it. I'm thinking people in AACA appreciate old things and will give this the care needed to transport it safely. It weighs about 80 pounds. It is in Naperville, Ill now. I'll be at Hershey from Tuesday through Saturday. I'll contact anyone who indicates they are willing to talk about this, but I'll be at our AACA meeting this evening (Thursday) so it will not be tonight. Thanks to all who have expressed a willingness to help.
