  1. I have been a vendor at Hershey since the 1960s. I received the email alert saying I would get the survey but I did not. It is not in my junk file. My email address has not changed. I would like to have a voice by having an opportunity to respond. I don't get a good feeling about how this is being handled.
  2. My wife recently received this picture of her uncle who was killed in action when his B-24 was shot down over Burma in WW II. We would like to know the specifics of the car in the picture. Thank you for your help.
  3. Does anyone know if the fuel tank for the '83 D-150 Stepside is being reproduced? It is about 54" long, 12" wide and 12" tall. Also, can anyone tell me what they are made of, and does anyone have experience with repairing a leak (crack) in these tanks? Thank you in advance for any help.
  4. To close out my original thread, the PA TPKE just reimbursed me for the total amount of the overcharge after I submitted the required dispute form that I downloaded from their site. I also called the VA EZPASS office and told them about the incident and they are sending me new transponders for both of my cars.
  5. Thank you for the information. My transponder is mounted correctly and has been in the same place for years. I had been wondering how we are supposed to know when the battery is low and needs to be replaced. I need to investigate that. I submitted the form, but will try the phone number also. Thanks again.
  6. During Hershey week I stay at a hotel in New Cumberland and it is located on I-83 near the PA Turnpike Harrisburg West Shore toll booth. During the week I made eight trips between the Harrisburg West and Harrisburg EAST Shore exits going to and from Hershey. Soon after I got home, my EZPASS account was replenished two times within a few days. When I checked my EZPASS account (Virginia EZPASS) I found that I had been charged $10 for each trip between the two exits for a total of $80. The normal toll for these trips according to the PA Turnpike web site is $1.40. (For 2 axle, four wheel veh
  7. I'm thinking maybe they were used for spare tire mounts. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  8. It is a Delco - Remy 647F. I bought it for a '37 GMC COE and the engine in that is a '37 Oldsmobile. I'm wondering if it was used on other engines? Thank you.
  9. Thanks for asking - I totally missed it. It is 1490265.
  10. Can anyone tell me what this is and what it is out of? Thank you
  11. The cover measures about 18" long and 2 1/4" wide. The part number, 1869751 is stamped on one end. I have a Delco - Remy Parts List up through the mid '30s and numbers close to this are included, but not a match. I suspect late '30s or early '40s. Thank you in advance.
  12. Can anyone ID this "V" emblem? It measures 5 1/2 inches from tip to tip. Thank you in advance.
  13. Can anyone tell me what cars these shocks were used on? They are Delco Lovejoy numbered 1652E, 1652F, 1652G, and 1652H. I suspect mid 1930s Cadillac. Others? Thank you.

  15. John - Thank you. It all comes back to me now - nearly 60 years later. This site has some interesting information and pictures about the park. The pavilion pictured shows up in the background of one of my pictures. http://roadsidewonders.net/the-remains-of-williams-grove/
  16. In 1962 I attended a car show where I saw the cars in the attached photos. I can not remember where the show was, but it was within one day's driving distance of Middletown, PA where I lived at the time. In the background of a couple of the pictures there appears to be a roller coaster. I know that sounds like Hershey, but I am pretty sure it was not there. I would appreciate knowing where it was if anyone can identify the location from the pictures. Thank you.

  22. Are spark plugs like these pictured collectable in this condition? Thanks for any replies.
  23. John nailed it - The Filling Station carries them - $2.00 each plus .20 for the washers. They are a GM part - Chevy used them from '29 - '31 as did Cadillac in 1930 and 31 and probably other models as well. Thank you.
  24. Does anyone know where I can get new screws like those used to hold door handles in place in GM products of the 1930s? I know Cadillac and Chevrolet used them and I suspect others did also. They are 1/4 - 28 x 5/8". They have domed heads that are 1/2" across the flats and are about 1/16" at the edge. Restoration Specialties had them in their catalog a few years ago but no longer stock them. Thank you in advance for any help.
  25. Can anyone tell me if this is a Ford Gauge? Possibly Ford Truck? Any help to ID it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
