  1. Well, now I did it. Made plans to attend the 2016 Packard National Meet with the family and my car is not done because I need some parts to finish it. The most critical parts I need are a set of nice relatively rust free running boards-both sides and the passenger side tail light bucket and stand for a 1937 Packard 120. I could use a few other parts but these are more or less needed to have a presentable show car. If you have these parts or know where I can get them for a fair price, please call me. My numbers are 920-731-8519 or 920-851-7062. Thanks! P.S. Also looking flying lady for a hood ornament for a 1933 Buick Series 60 and nice shiny front and rear bumpers.
  2. I am looking to buy a Delco Part no. 1594 Vacuum Starter Switch that was used for 1934-35-36 Buicks. Please email me art pint4@new.rr.com or 920-851-7062. Thank you!

  5. I am looking to buy a nice set of 1937 Packard 120 running boards (with or without rubber mat on them). 35 and 36 Packard 120 may also work. Also need the passenger side tail light bucket, and door handles for rumble seat and trunk lid. Please contact me at pint4@new.rr.com or 920-731-8519 or 920-851-7062. Thanks!!!
  6. Does anyone know if there are wing nuts sold by anyone that would work for a 1935 Buick Series 40 car? Bob's sell wing nuts for the "Big Series" but I didn't see anything for the 40 Series. Also wondering if anyone would know the thread size for the nuts the holds on the spark plug cover? Maybe I can source wing nuts locally. Thanks. pint4@new.rr.com
  7. I have a 1935 Buick with 30,000 miles and original straight 8 engine. What are the best modern oils formulated for vintage cars like mine? Have others used synthetic oil in their vintage Buicks? Any problems? What weight oil, straight?... multi-viscosity? I am told high Zinc content and low detergent is critical. Thanks!

  11. Looking to buy left and right rear fenders for a 1937 Packard 120 in very nice condition. No rust out or significant dents or bondo. Contact: pint4@new.rr.com or PM or ..... Thanks!
  12. I tried the number provide for Terry Frye but the message said the number was no longer in service. Does anyone have a current number? Thanks.
  13. Sounds like the critical piece of the puzzle is making sure whoever does the woodgraining has the correct wood grain patterns and colors in addition to prep work and being able to replicate the original factory look.
  14. I am willing to ship. The dash is 3 pieces, none very long, and the garnish moldinsg are not that large either because it is a convertible.
  15. Does anyone have a recommendation for the name of a service that does woodgraining on car dashboards? I am looking for an accurate reproduction so it looks like the original factory woodgraining. I am restoring a 37 Packard. Thanks.
  16. I am interested in the engine depending on condition and location. Please contact me at pint4@new.rr.com or evenings at 920-851-7062. Thanks.
  17. 29stutz, I am interested in the parts and have sent you a PM. I am in Northern Wisconsin so Northern Minnesota is close enough where I could even pick up the parts depending on how far North. Thanks!
  18. Somehow I missed these. Possibly because they were not whitewalls. Yes, they might work because my car originally came with blackwalls. Thanks!!!
  19. I am starting to pull together parts to do a restoration on my 1933 Buick Model 68. It is a year or two (maybe more) down the road but I thought I should start early running down parts. If you have any parts for sale, I would be interested in knowing more about them. Possibly even a parts car if it is not too far gone. Email: pint4@new.rr.com Thanks
  20. Thanks for the leads. A set has been ordered and I am looking forward to receiving them. I appreciate the help.
  21. I find the history of the classic automobiles to be quite amazing, great engineering and designs ahead of their time. I am looking for old issues of the CCCA magazines and bulletins. Please let me know what you have and the price. First preference would be to have complete years-all issues. Thanks.
  22. I need the parts for the 37 Packard 120 currently a work in progress. It was in need of more parts than I thought it needed prior to dismantling it. Lots of surprises. Parts missing that I didn't even know were missing until we were into the project.
  23. Checked their websites and didn't see any 17" radials for vintage cars. It is possible no one makes them yet. Definitely saw 15" and 16" tires that had vintage profiles and were radials. Maybe I am looking for something not yet developed. May be less of a market for 17" radial tires with a vintage look or there may be a technical reason they can't do it. Hopefully there is a tire expert who has the answer.
  24. Does anyone manufacture 6:00/6:50-17" radial tires with tubes for a 1933 Buick?
