That is ok. I guess you are still a little blinded from all those bright colors you use on your cars.

Les,
If you did not post it on the Buick forum, do so. The experts you need will more likely be there.

Thanks for the recommendations.

With the rules we have to agree to when starting the forum - does the bald picture of Steve fit in? We may have to monitor the situation closely.

Looks like you generated some great discussion from your comments. It sounds a little like the discussion you and I had.

Wayne,
I thought that was your car, you know the Cord frame that you put the Ford body on. I thought I recognized those as your favorite colors when you ran out of the fluorescent purple, orange, and green combinations you usually paint your Model As with.

Bill,
Rock Auto lists this below for your Avanti. Also, I cross referenced on the http://www.pureoil.com/ site for the Purolator cross reference to Fram. I hope this helps. Of course you will want to check this yourself. Also, note NAPA has good filters so I guess they have one also.

I purchased a ticket last time and also this time. I was very disappointed when they did not call my name at Hershey as I was ready to drive it home. At least they should have some of the bugs (bad axles) out of it by now, when I drive it home. I hope you will have it all cleaned up for me when I leave.

Thanks for the advice.

I stored the above car on my property for a friend. It has been sitting outside but is in basically decent condition although it has some rust. I know it has the turbo and was working when he drove it in.
I need to move it from my property but do not want to scrap it as I love old cars and want to see it preserved.
Any suggestions. It is located in cental NJ.

Peter,
You know with the price of gas, I should put it in my safe deposit box and take it out in a few years. It will probably be worth more than gold.
-
I have a gallon of gas and two cycle oil mixed together from my snowblower. Can I use this in my antique car engine which was made prior to catalytic converters? I would use it with a full tank of gas.
Thanks,
-
Yes, we did get 243 cars and all were judged if they requested it. We start at noon and usually finish around 2:00. It takes a lot of work but we usually have about 15 classes that vary each year depending upon past activity in the classes. Like most clubs our older cars, except Model A's, go down and the 60s are coming up in number.

As I have posted before, Mobil 5000 mile oil is still rated back to SG.
-
We would love to have you. We got 243 antique cars last year and we do judging.

Hi Wayne,
You didn't have too many paid ones to miss the free did you. Also, that is a good idea about the large letters on the meet package.

Cops Find Man's Stolen Mustang 37 Years Later
Thursday , March 20, 2008
After 37 years a Los Angeles man may finally get his stolen Mustang back.
Eugene Brakke was recently told by the San Diego Police Department auto theft unit that his 1965 Mustang was found in their city, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
In 1970 Brakke reported it stolen and filed a report with the Burbank Police Department, the newspaper reported.
Police told the newspaper that a San Diego woman was given the Mustang as a high school graduation gift from her father in 1970. When she recently tried to sell it, she learned it was stolen.
But, according to the woman, it is unclear if Brakke wants to car back, because he told her it is "just not the same," the newspaper reported.

Also, the AACA has a library that you can use for research.

I will be purchasing a ticket again as I was supposed to win the last raffle (in my mind). I will be sending a check.

Try posting this in the Olds forum also if you have not.
