Is the throttle cable the same for a 71 Detla 88 455 to Toro 455?
-
Existing cable goes through a firewall hole that is same diameter as the cable. The new cable has a fitting at each end that will not fit through the same hole. Does it come apart? Also, I can't see how the cable attaches under the dash, but I do see a bracket of some kind.Is this something I unbolt to get at the end assembly?

I'm replacing the intake manifold on 71 88 455. Do I need to drain all the water in the block and radiator?

Changing from 2v to 4v on 71-455 88 Royale. I have all the components. Is there anything special I need to know concerning the mounting of the new throttle cable? Which end should I attach first? What are the 4v valve settings/adjustments I'll need to get it started?

I'm converting a 71 Delta 88 Royale 455 from a 2v to a 4v. Will the old manifold be difficult to unbolt? What precautions can I take to keep from shearing a bolt?

I am changing the carb on my 455 engined 71' 88 Royale from a two barrel to a 4 barrel. The new manifold and carb are from two different sources. Is the linkage different? I don't know what car originally mounted this four barrel. Thanks

The only fuse that was blown was a standard glass fuse on the right side of the box, about three up from the bottom. I replaced with 30A and everything works fine.

The cables should loop forward, and be held close to the inside panel with a tiewrap.

Templets aren't required. There is an access panel.

The remote mirror cables are getting snagged on some part of the power window
mechanism inside the door. How does the cable lie inside the door so the window can move without snagging? Is There some kind of channel or bracket that keeps it out of the way? The cables are partially surrounded by some kind of rubber jacket. Thanks

71 Delta 88 keeps blowing 20 amp fuses on power window circuit. Higher amp fuse needed? Thanks

I have a 1971 Delta 88 convertable with air. The two lower speeds on the blower work fine, but not the high speed. Why is the high speed controlled by a seperate relay? Could something besides a defective high speed relay be the problem? Why is there a seperate control relay for the highest speed anyway?
Why are there two relays controlling the top motor: One under the dash and one at the motor? Thanks

I have a 71 Delta 88 with power windows. I need to back out all the wires from the drivers door. I know the wires all fit into a conduit between the door and the body, but where do they go next? Can I reach and pull them into the interior?
