I need help! I have a 1965 Buick GS the gas gauge was not reading correctly, I was at a swap meet and purchased a new sending unit installed the unit instead of read 1/2 correct it would read 3/4 when I filled it up. Unpluged the unit and the gauge went past full like it should have. I then whent to the gauge it self, I bought a nos on ebay installed it and it still reads 3/4 when I fill it. What could be the problem? Help and fustrated. Joey

Hows the front bumper? Do you have a battery hold down and plat. Any dash parts or tack face plate (plastic) or housing

I sell some auto's and have been looking at the riv market, depends on condition it is worth 5,000 to 15,000 sounds like the one you are looking at is worth about $7,500.00. If you know the auto it could be worth more to you. My advice go with your instinks (?) if you like the car and it makes you happy it is priceless. Joey
