Enter your message here : As a former (now retired) WPC Club member I still keep my eyes open. Just found a 1924 4cyl. Dodge 4-door with (I'm told) 10,500 original miles. All original, runs quietly. The only rust I saw were a few pin holes in the running boards. The front seat leather is bad. Has been garaged through the years and run occasionally. Third ? owner. $6500 firm. Contact doradora@milwpc.com for more info. Car is in Milwaukee, WI.

    Thanks! Roger Zehms, rzehms@yahoo.com.

  6. Here's Tom's quote from the original car test on the 1962 300-Sport:

"I had the car for over a month, and had as many adventures with it as a Siberian trapper would have in Miami Beach. ......The new 300 is the old Windsor, sexed up and poured into a sport suit.....When you slide behind the wheel you get the feeling that this is a big compact, and not an oversized barge as awkward to handle as wearing moose antlers in a telephone booth..... A functional car that gives top performance with lots of room for beaucoup stuff, which might include wine, weazels or women...... In summing up, the (1962) Chrysler 300 is the best value in the medium priced field that I have driven in several years."

  7. I own one of these, ( for 26 years now ). What kind of condition is the one you are buying? Lenses and emblems are available after market. Seat upholstery is available as NOS fabric, or leather after-market. Weatherstrip is available. Disk brake conversion kits are available. New dash pads can be made for them from www.justdashes.com. The engines and transmissions are well engineered on these cars, the 383 engine is good solid V-8 smooth running V-8, and 1962 is the first year of the new aluminum Torqueflite 727 automatic transmission, the best automatic ever made. Rust areas are the front fenders around the headlights and at the bottom in front of the door where they drain, and rear quarter panels and the trunk floor. Let me know any help you may need.

  10. Someone in South America emailed me through the WPC Web site looking for parts for 2 413 industrial engines that are powering wind machines. Anyone know where to find parts ? Apparently these engines don't use the same standard parts as a passenger car 413. He is looking for a set of rings and head gaskets for each.

    Thanks,

    Ian
