  1. Sounds like a condition 5 to me, i.e., restorable and OCs Price Guide dated August 2001 shows about $2160-2200. #4 is a good driveable needing little and it is $3500-3600. If it is isn't running and has been sitting outside for 30 years, the engine may not turn, gas tank will be bad, brakes all need complete overhaul, etc. If you pick up a copy of the Old Cars Price Guide, see the description on page 10 that appears to match your description. I checked Collector Car price guide as well and it shows $1575 to $1600, not quite as generous for what their magazine refers to as Condition 4 but equivalent to OCs Condition 5.

  2. Photo looks fine, Craig. I discovered yesterday when my Patrician got in a heavy rain, that I had identical leaks onto the door panel material around the window switches. I must be missing a flapper or rubber piece off the front of both doors and will try to check that and fix this weekend.

  3. For those of you not from the old chat site, I have a 1955 Patrician, a 1955 Clipper Super, and a 1953 Packard Clipper. All are drivers in #3 or better condition (paint, you know) and the '53 is show condition.

  4. Dave mentioned photos could be posted here. That will be great once we learn how to do it. I am still without a host server for any photos so would need this site to accommodate that service, otherwise I'll look at what you guys and gals post. Time to bookmark.
