It just breaks my heart Earl. but these 39's are not that popular anymore. Too bad. One of the prettiest cars ever made and one of the best. 39 Buick's a Beauty ! Some 39 nut will come along and be in dream land when he sees yours. Darn 60's cars are taking the market and have for a few years now. Good Luck Earl. Your reputation precedes itself. The "right guy will come along when you least expect it.

This is all that I have. There is a very small tip at the end of the post that is broken off. I believe it keeps the spring from turning on the post. Otherwise, it is in perfect condition. As stated earlier, great for parts.

Jim, Anyone who has been around parts for a long period of time learns that "stamping" numbers on the back of the part are NOT always the OEM Part Number.
Look, all I wanted was some kind person to help me identify these parts. When I am asked to identify parts for someone, I don't get into suggestions,debates,etc. I look the items up and give them the results. That is all I am hoping for here.
When I buy out a Dealer, I get hundreds of boxes and I spend hundreds of hours looking thru Parts Books to identify them. However, there are always used parts and parts with no boxes and then I need to get a little help from other enthusiasts. I figure I spend enough time helping others, helping identify their parts, so I maybe can get a little help for myself. That is all I am asking for. GT Rfd, Ill.
