  1. It just breaks my heart Earl. but these 39's are not that popular anymore. Too bad. One of the prettiest cars ever made and one of the best. 39 Buick's a Beauty ! Some 39 nut will come along and be in dream land when he sees yours. Darn 60's cars are taking the market and have for a few years now. Good Luck Earl. Your reputation precedes itself. The "right guy will come along when you least expect it.

  2. This is all that I have. There is a very small tip at the end of the post that is broken off. I believe it keeps the spring from turning on the post. Otherwise, it is in perfect condition. As stated earlier, great for parts.

  4. Jim, Anyone who has been around parts for a long period of time learns that "stamping" numbers on the back of the part are NOT always the OEM Part Number.

Look, all I wanted was some kind person to help me identify these parts. When I am asked to identify parts for someone, I don't get into suggestions, debates, etc. I look the items up and give them the results. That is all I am hoping for here.

When I buy out a Dealer, I get hundreds of boxes and I spend hundreds of hours looking thru Parts Books to identify them. However, there are always used parts and parts with no boxes and then I need to get a little help from other enthusiasts. I figure I spend enough time helping others, helping identify their parts, so I maybe can get a little help for myself. That is all I am asking for. GT Rfd, Ill.
