  2. Jim, Anyone who has been around parts for a long period of time learns that "stamping" numbers on the back of the part are NOT always the OEM Part Number.

Look, all I wanted was some kind person to help me identify these parts. When I am asked to identify parts for someone, I don't get into suggestions, debates, etc. I look the items up and give them the results. That is all I am hoping for here.

When I buy out a Dealer, I get hundreds of boxes and I spend hundreds of hours looking thru Parts Books to identify them. However, there are always used parts and parts with no boxes and then I need to get a little help from other enthusiasts. I figure I spend enough time helping others, helping identify their parts, so I maybe can get a little help for myself. That is all I am asking for. GT Rfd, Ill.

  3. I have over 1,000 Parts Books & Accessory Books. I look up part numbers for people all the time. You can't look up a part without a group and part number. Chassis & Body Parts Books do not have pictures next to every part number Jim!

Why are you and others so mean spirited? If this web site doesn't want us to ask for help to identify parts, they should eliminate this identification forum. Is it that hard to TRY to be nice? GT Rfd, Ill.
