Dear Fellow Member, What do you use to remove chalkey film from a plastic Dash Knob from years of sitting in a box at the Dealership Parts Department. It is very difficult to remove with just Dawn Dish Soap & hot water. Is there a good chemical remover that will not destroy the plastic knob? I can make this knob look NEW, however it takes about 30-45 minutes to get it all off. Is it a coating that the factory put on it to preserve it? Thank You, Greg Thomas
