  1. I Happen to have a copy of the 1990 Reatta window sticker and it is for an Arctic White Reatta W/blue interior. email me if interested. WIll
  2. My 1990 Reatta is listed on ebay and the price is $3500.00 buy it now and there is not a thing wrong with it. The vehicle is in Seattle, Wa. Will
  3. I have had my 1990 Reatta for sale for a month now and it is in absolutely perfect condition and the best offer I have had is below $3500.00. Almost everything that wears out has been replaced within the last yearand a half. Not trying to disillusion you, just telling you what to expect. I spent over $200.00 on ads from cars.com and other places and have had a total of about 5 responses to the ads and no sale so far. If you try to sell it on cars.com they will advise people to use Kelley Blue Book to value your car and the book from them is really low. This is the book dealers use to value your trade. NADA is almost %100 higher and this is the book dearlers use to value your vehicle for resale. Hope this helps and good luck Will
  4. Thanks to all of you that are responding to my post. This is what I was trying to accomplish. I too have had some minor things to take care of, but it is the most wonderful car I have ever had and am sad to have to part with it, but I have no place to store it. I wanted to get the word out that these are wonderful vehicles and as you have stated, "it is like a drugstore for automobiles" and we do get solutions for our concerns. I hope everyone responds, we need positives and more of them. Life isn't always a bed of roses so let's add a much positive as possible. Be safe and happy always Will
  5. I have had my Reatta for about 7 years now and have had absolutely nothing but good times with it and have totally enjoyed it. It is the best car I have ever owned and the most enjoyable. I am now in the process of attempting to sell it and have found there are a lot of people interested in our cars but refuse to buy them because they to have found our Reatta site and visit our discussions about brakes etc. I constantly have to try to convince them that I have had no problems at all with mine. This is just a suggestion. If we ever want to, or have to sell our vehicles at a decent price and want the value of our classics to go up and fast, I suggest we start telling all the enjoyable stories and things we have to say about our cars and that there is no perfect car and that the Mercedes Benz is the most repaired car in the world. We are running down the value of our classics by the negative posts we allow and it is time to start the positive. I myself am tired of apologizing and trying to convince people that I have no problems with my Reatta and I never have. Very sincerely and honestly Will, a very proud Reatta owner
  6. I did not trade it in. I am selling it myself and sold cars at one time and know better than to try to negotiate a trade with them. They use the Kelley Blue Book to negotiate the price and the Nada to price it for sale and there is $2500.00 difference between the two. Kelley is always lower. NADA is more realistic as for the real value because that is what you will have to pay the dealer to purchase it from them.
  7. I Have a beautiful 1990 Reatta with 130,000 miles on it which is about 8500 miles a year. This car is immaculately maintained and looks like new. You can see it on Craig's list for Seattle, Wa. I have about 20 pictures of the car I will be happy to email you since craigs list will only allow 4. You can see it at, http://seattle.craigslist.org/car/139586578.html copy and paste the address in your browser which is craigslist. The only reason I am parting with it is because I have ordered a new Saturn Sky and it will be in the next two weeks. I have had no problems with it and it uses no oil and has no leaks. Not even around the door windows. I have no place to store it or I would definitely keep it. The exterior and interior are like new except I put a JVC stereo in it and a 12 CD player in the trunk, but have the original that needs some work. There is a complete list of all accessories as well as pictures on Craig's list.
  8. In regards to the Saturn Sky. I put in my order and will get it within the next three weeks. It has been ordered from Saturn and will cost me about $28,000 fully loaded with a short shift 5 speed. It has the worlds best engine that was designed for Saturn/Gm by Lotus in Europe. They look like a little Corvette and I have seen it at the Auto show and can't wait for it to come in. There are only going to be a total 10,000 2007 models built for 500 dealerships so it is going to be fairly rare car to start. I am selling my Reatta since I have no place to store and I am really sad about it. I have never had a bit of trouble with the car except for having to replace the radio since one of the channels burned out.
  9. Sorry: Yes it is true and absurd. I questioned the service department about the price and they stated that is the price. I found out that they literally fair traded the item which is illegal, by setting a high price on it. Will
  10. The part number for the accumulator at GMPartsDirect.com is 25528382. I Have a new one that I am not using since I am selling the car, but will hold on to it until none are available new. The Buick Dealers have this fair traded at about $3000.00 the last time I checked at the Buick dealership I worked for. . Hope this helps Will
  11. Help: I need the drivers side door speaker, speaker grill and grey cloth covering. My 1990 Reatta is Gunmetal with gray interior. I would very much any help I can get. Thank You Will Starman [color:\\"brown\\"]
  12. Thank to everyone that posted a response to my accumulator question. I just went to http://www.gmpartsdirect.com and purchased a new accumulator for $103.00 that is including shipping and no core charge. My heartfelt thanks to everyone for their response. Be safe and happy always. Will
  13. Does anyone have access to the accumulator for the ABS system and if so what is the price. Also, is it new or can the accumulator be rebuilt. The Buick dealership I work for wants an outrageous price for the unit and I want to have a spare for my 90 Reatta in case it ever goes. (They want $2900.00 plus installation). Thanks and be safe. Will
  14. Barney: I am using this way to contact you since I can't get your email address to accept a message. I need a latch assembly for the indash glove box lid for a gray interior 1990 Reatta. Can you help? The dealers discontinued the item. Thank you Will Starman

  16. How can I reset the service AC light on the dash? The system has been updated from freon to R134a. Can't get the Service AC light to reset, consequently the air conditioner will not come on and the system runs in the "Econ" function. Any suggestions. Thanks Will
  17. I read a post by someone that there is a site to get the rear trunk seal for a 1990 Reatta.<P>Anyone remember where that is?<P>Thanks<BR>Will
  18. I live in Kent, Wa and I know of at least 10 Reattas, various years. The Cadillac Allantes are also very popular here. I am sure there are more Reattas here, but with limited colors I don't know how many I've seen altogether.<P>There are 2 of the white special editions here. Mine is the driftwood, with a gold package that I added myself.<P>Hope this helps<BR>Will
  19. If each person that wants to see what the finished product looks like, email me at willyum@bigfoot.com and I will send you the pictures. I would do it here but I don't see an option for adding attachments to these messages. <P>The wood grain kit comes from a 1990 Buick Riviera. I don't know any part numbers since I purchased the kit from a member who had them.<P>Go to the nearest wrecking yard and ask them for the wood grain dash, console, tape storage door and door arm rest trim pieces.<P>Wish I had more info. I will send you pictures I took of the finished product.<P>Take care and be safe and happy always<BR>Will
  20. Promise you are not going to sell it on Ebay and I will send you a 1990 coupe owners manual.<P>Will Starman
  21. Thanks to John Forette from the BCA I just installed the wood grain dash, console and door trim kits in my 1990 Reatta. It looks wonderful. <P>The 1990 Riviera wood grain kit fits almost perfect except for the door arm rest pieces and I made them fit with a little ingenuity and some velcro. I can't believe the difference and I am very pleased.
  22. How do I reprogram my keyfobs? I have one that works and one that does not, how do reprogram them? All help will be appreciated. <P>Thanks<BR>Will
  23. Jerry:<BR>I have come up with a teriffic cup holder for the 90 Buick Reatta that fits into the front of the center console. I made one and it was fairly easy. I bought one of those cup holders that they have for boats and RV.s that fold up, bought 2 cheap cup holder that have the plastic mounts that fit over the door sills. Cut off the 3 sided bracket off the cheap plastic holders (I bought 2 for $1.62). Attached them to the back of the fold down cup holder with screws and it fits over the front of the arm rest so that you can still close the lid. You will have to make another minor modification so that the cup holder when finished fits flat, but it works wonderful and folds up out of the way when done.<P>If you want more info I will give you the part numbers for the three cupholders I used to make one so you can make one yourself.<P>Will
  24. Thank you Jerry, I really appreciate the information. Have safe and happy holidays. <P>Will
