OK, my take.
The Packard was first and interestingly original.
This is also an interesting car to me in an environment you wouldn't expect it to be in based on what you can see right?
Notice the double spares on the back of the car you can't see, is that the Packard? What about that tube framework of a collapsed shelter above both cars?
Older picture maybe.
What else is in the good storage if this stuff is outside?
If I lived within a couple of hours..... curiosity would get the best of me. Good luck Billety, to the rescue!
The tires on the dual spares are denmans, guessing 650 x 20.

I am seeking information on upgrading the engine internals during the rebuild process on a 1925 model 11A engine. I know there are substitue parts to allow for the use of bearing shells in place of the poured babbit of the era. I would like to know where to find this information and any other modifications that may need to be done to the engine block or crankshaft during the upgrade process. Thank you all for your help.

No 4 main will burn out no. 3 rod. Put in a bronze backed bearing in place of no. 4 main. That will do you well.

Is anyone restoring a Model 38 or 48 considering new aluminum pistons as part of the rebuild process? A project to source forged domed pistons is in the exploration stage. If you have an interest, send a PM.

Al just don't use a forged piston is all.

Topic: Sealing the water plates to the top of cylinders.
Anyone tackle this job successfully? If so please advise as to how you sealed the water plates to the cylinders.
Thank you in advance.

It is a whole lot depressing. What needs to be done are club projects, to pool resources to make tires to compete with the monopoly tire manufacturer. JR

Post a photo of what you need as installed on a car. I have some 22nd series trim and other parts for a custom 8 perhaps they fit super.
