  1. I have a NEW fold up seat for sale. It is new and still has the wrapping around the metal legs. There are 2 pockets on the front side of the seat, one pocket is a cooler for refreshments and the other is a storage pocket. This is a great seat to have to take to those car shows or wherever! Show your BUICK pride!! It also comes with a strap for carrying it over your shoulder!

Colors are Blue and White. Neat conversation piece! I am asking $60.00 or best offer for the seat, plus shipping. Let me know if you have any questions. I will ship anywhere in the USA. The seat is in Wisconsin.

    Thanks, John

  2. A friend of mine has a beautiful 1972 Centurion 2 door hardtop for sale. It has 20,861 original miles!! Beautiful Seamist Green Poly, original paint and near flawless, with a near perfect tan vinyl top and interior. The car has a 455 - 4 barrel engine that runs and drives great. It uses and leaks no oil, (has slight seepage at valve cover gaskets), and it has the old R12 A/C. Buick Mag wheels with new tires and battery. Otherwise this car is a time piece! Asking price is $7800.00. Call Walt Smith at 707-479-7356 or 707-546-8000, tell him John Simonson told you to call. This car is a great car and worth the asking price!

  3. Yes Brian, it is a 2 dr. Thanks for the info. Here is a photo of the car.

20,887 miles! Original car. The only thing is.....I Hate the color, thus I would like to paint it.....Thanks for the knowledge though! It's invaluable!

The other downer of the car is, it has a light green dash, and that would make it tougher to paint a color I like that doesn't clash!

  4. I am thinking of buying a 72 Centurion that has a vinyl top. I am thinking I may repaint the car. If I take the vinyl top off, can I leave it off without needing any differnt trim for a car that has no vinyl top? If so, is there trim out there I can get to install on the vehicle with no vinyl top? Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I would like to know before I buy it.

    Thanks for your help.

  5. My wife and I a flying to Las Vegas 3-22-07 and staying til Mon morning. If there is anyone in or around that area (Calif, Nevada, Ariz, Utah area) that has a super nice 67-72 Skylark or GS for sale, let me know, maybe we can get together and look at it. I probably can't get too far out of the Vegas area, but if nothing else, we could maybe meet somewhere. I am looking for a nice car that I don't have to do anything with. Prefer bucket seats. Nothing in green, interior or exterior. I have 10 to 12K to spend. Let me know what you have, send me a PM, or email me at: JSimonson@TDS.net

Send me all the info you can, and photos would be great!

ON A SIDE NOTE, IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE US SOME SIGHTSEEING TIPS OR A TOUR OF THE CITY, I WOULD BE HONORED! WE HAVE NEVER BEEN OUT THERE. MY WIFE HAS A CONFERENCE TO ATTEND AND I WOULD HAVE SOME FREE TIME TO CHECK OUT CARS FOR SALE OR DO SOME TOURING. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

  6. OK Guys,....The snow and wind has us all indoors today, I did my duties shoveling and clearing, now it's time to get down to business. As you may or may not know, I am looking for a 1966-1972 Skylark or GS. I would also consider a Cutlass or 442, Camaro, Nova or Chevelle in that order. Looking for a very nice car that I can drive, and take to local car shows and awe people. I am pretty particular, especially about the interior. I would like bucket seats, but bench with armrest is OK. The car should be in great shape, ready to go. No green or white colors please. Thanks.

Looking to spend up to $15,000.00 max,.....that would include the shipping if need be. Let me know what you have for sale, I will answer all emails, calls, PM's, whatever. Today is the day, since I am home all day, I'll be watching the race later.

  7. I am looking for a 68-72 GM A-Body,....prefer Skylark or GS, but would look at Chevelle's, Camaro's, Firebird's, Cutlass's of the same years, or a GN or Turbo Regal. MUST be in nice condition, original or restored. I have up to $14,500.00 to spend. Would possibly look at a nice 63-72 Riv or Riv GS, must be nice though!

Any color except Green or White. No green interiors. Thanks.

  8. I would like to find and buy a nice 68-69 Skylark or GS. Obviously a 2 door hardtop. Bucket seats would be the preference, but a bench with arm rest would be OK. 350 V8, automatic. Looking for one that is restored or original.

Let me know what you have. Looking to spend up to $12,500.00 maybe a little more if need be. I had a beautiful 69 Skylark Custom and I keep kicking myself for selling it. It went to a guy in Madison Wisconsin.

Email any info and photos, JSimonson@TDS.net or call me. I am in Neillsville, Wisconsin

  9. I have a set of 5 spinner caps for a 65 Skylark/GS. These caps are in near mint condition. Very minor waves on them, they were installed on a car very few times. The spinners themselves are near perfect. The red medallions are beautiful. The fifth cap has a little discoloring on the red medallion and there is a crack between two of the holes. The gray was repainted and is in very nice condition. The photos look like there are dents and waves in the metal, but believe me, they are very straight! More photos available on request.

I am asking $200.00 for the set of 5 and shipping will be actual shipping costs to your zip code. They are in Neillsville Wisconsin.

I do have a set of 4 - 14X5 steel wheels that the caps came on as well. The have been blasted and primed and painted and are excellent. Asking $20.00 each for those. Photos available on request.

Let me know of any questions. Thanks for your time. They will go on ebay if no interest here.

  10. Tom, Greg is right, why not spend the money on an 07 model and get the 100K powertrain warranty?? Last July, I bought an 06 Silverado Z71...the sticker was just a hair over $34K, and I paid just a tad over $24K !! How's that for a deal!! I do work at the dealership, but they had special incentives on the truck as they wanted to move it to make room for the 07 "Classic" models. My monthly payment for the NEW truck is....are you sitting down??.....$284.00 per month!! For a full size, Z71 Chev half ton pickup! Call Gross Motors in Neillsville Wisconsin Monday morning and talk with Mike Gross, he'll give you an idea what kind of deal you can get. He's a good honest and down to earth guy that will treat you right. His number is:

1-888-743-3207 and ask for him. Tell him I told you to call.

    Good Luck. John
